  • Publication number: 20250117299
Abstract: A technique monitors input/output (I/O) and storage ownership takeover activity patterns to detect degraded performance of a highly available and fault tolerant application executing in a multi-site environment. Multiple instances of the application execute in different containers or pods running on virtual machines (VMs) of a compute layer within a containerized (e.g., Kubernetes) clustering configuration that extends across clusters of the sites. A storage layer of the clusters provides shared storage to the pods running on the VMs across the multiple sites. One of the sites is configured as an active storage site configured to receive and service I/O requests from the compute layer. A single instance of the application is active at a time and configured as a “compute owner” of the shared storage to issue the I/O requests to the shared storage.

  • Publication number: 20250117905
Abstract: A rotor blade includes an airfoil having an airfoil shape. The airfoil shape has a nominal profile substantially in accordance with Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z set forth in one of Table I, Table II, Table III, Table IV, Table V, Table VI, Table VII, Table VIII, or Table IX. The Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z are non-dimensional values from 0% to 100% convertible to dimensional distances expressed in a unit of distance by multiplying the Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z by a scaling factor of the airfoil in the unit of distance. The X and Y values, when connected by smooth continuing arcs, define airfoil profile sections at each Z value. The airfoil profile sections at Z values are joined smoothly with one another to form a complete airfoil shape.

  • Patent number: 12273255
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed to implement an adaptive testing service (ATS) capable of automatically generating test cases for a network service to adapt test coverage to observed behaviors of the network service. In embodiments, the ATS uses telemetry data from a production version of the network service to identify classes of testable behaviors. Test cases are generated for the behaviors and assigned weights based on frequency or recency metrics of the behaviors. The test cases are stored in a test case repository, and may be used to monitor the production version of the network service or verify code changes to a development version of the network service. The test case weights may be used to select which test cases to run or determine whether code changes should be accepted or rejected. The test cases are evolved over time to adapt to behavior changes in the network service.

  • Patent number: 12271316
Abstract: A memory system includes a firmware unit and a cache module that includes a cache controller and a cache memory. The cache controller receives an I/O message that includes a local message ID (LMID) and data to be written to a logical drive (LD), stores the data in a cache segment (CS) row of the cache memory and sends an ID of the CS row to the firmware unit. The firmware unit, in response to receiving the ID of the CS row, acquires a timestamp and stores the timestamp to check against a cache flush timeout for the CS row. The firmware unit periodically checks cache flush timeout and in response to detecting the cache flush timeout, sends a flush command with the ID of the CS row to the cache controller. The cache controller, in response to receiving the flush command, flushes the first data of the CS row.
