  • Publication number: 20250032508
Abstract: Stable pharmaceutical compositions are provided, comprising a pharmaceutically effective amount of testosterone or a pharmaceutically acceptable ester thereof, a pharmaceutically acceptable oil vehicle, and a stabilizing amount of benzyl alcohol, for example, about 1% to 3% weight/volume of benzyl alcohol. The present invention also provides a process for stabilizing testosterone-containing pharmaceutical compositions by ageing them at a temperature of about 20° C. to about 60° C. for at least 48 hours, e.g., prior to secondary packing and labeling. These compositions were stable over the shelf life of the product, without exhibiting crystal formation, even upon storing at temperatures of about 2° C. to about 8° C. Other aspects of the invention relate to methods for making such pharmaceutical compositions and methods of using such pharmaceutical compositions for hormone replacement therapy, e.g.

  • Publication number: 20240308847
Abstract: Processes and apparatus for low-CO2 emissions methanol production using a high efficiency (>90%) reformer fired with a low-carbon fuel (C:H<0.03) to produce syngas. CO2 is removed from the syngas, and the CO2-lean syngas is fed to a methanol synthesis loop. A purge stream from the methanol synthesis loop is processed to recover a hydrogen-rich stream and a tail gas stream. The hydrogen-rich stream is supplied as fuel to fire the reformer, along with a portion (<10%) of the tail gas, to produce a CO2-lean flue gas (<3 vol %, dry basis). The flue gas is optionally cooled below a dew point to form condensate, which can be collected and removed. The methanol production can have a carbon efficiency of 97% or more, and a CO2 emissions reduction (compared to natural gas firing) of 88% or more.

  • Patent number: 10997264
Abstract: Systems and techniques for delivery of contextual interest from interaction information are described that process user interactions with digital content to generate user interest scores for various topics. A contextual user interest system uses user interaction data to identify and contextualize content, and assigns propensity scores to the contextualized content. By dynamically contextualizing pages of content, the contextual user interest system may adapt to changes in the content and provide more accurate and robust information over time, which is not possible using conventional techniques. The contextualized pages of content are used to assign user interest scores across a number of topics to users who have visited the pages of content, and the user interest scores are normalized in a manner that allows a user's degree of interest in a topic to be compared to that of another user.
