  • Publication number: 20240078841
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable storage media for using image processing to develop a library of facial expressions. The system can receive digital video of at least one speaker, then execute image processing on the video to identify landmarks within facial features of the speaker. The system can also identify vectors based on the landmarks, then assign each vector to an expression, resulting in a plurality of speaker expressions. The system then scores the expressions based on similarity to one another, and creates subsets based on the similarity scores.

  • Publication number: 20240066836
Abstract: Described herein are highly thermally conductive hybrid carbon fiber composites. The composites are composed of one or more alternating layers of (a) a pyrolytic graphite sheet and (b) carbon fibers impregnated with a resin. The thermal conductivity of the composites is substantially higher when compared independently to the pyrolytic graphite sheet and carbon fibers. In addition to increased thermal conductivity, the composites possess other desirable properties such as increased thermal emissivity and solar absorptivity. The enhanced properties of the composites make them suitable for use in a number of different applications where heat flow is desirable.

  • Publication number: 20240070054
Abstract: A requirements to test (R2T) system is implemented, which provides an automated system by which a user interface (UI)-test automation script package is generated and the generated test scripts therein are executed against software. A visualized workflow is translated into some machine-consumable formatted file. The translated workflow is utilized by an artificial intelligence driven automated R2T engine to discover paths through the workflow, a series of executable steps for the paths that detail how the software will be used, and ultimately test scripts that are generated using pre-defined validation templates. An automation platform executes the test scripts through the software associated with the workflow, which automatically captures evidence of the executed test scripts to fulfill computer system validation requirements. The R2T system provides an automated solution for test script creation and system validation to expedite the validation process and thereby streamline a software's time to market.

  • Patent number: 11914641
Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems and methods for information retrieval. Embodiments of the disclosure provide a color embedding network trained using machine learning techniques to generate embedded color representations for color terms included in a text search query. For example, techniques described herein are used to represent color text in a same space as color embeddings (e.g., an embedding space created by determining a histogram of LAB based colors in a three-dimensional (3D) space). Further, techniques are described for indexing color palettes for all the searchable images in the search space. Accordingly, color terms in a text query are directly converted into a color palette and an image search system can return one or more search images with corresponding color palettes that are relevant to (e.g., within a threshold distance from) the color palette of the text query.

  • Patent number: 11914960
Abstract: Embodiments provide a system and method for statistical subject identification. The system takes texts, videos, audios, and images as input for which subject needs to be identified. The system pre-process input data and generates n-grams and pre-processed text strings by removing stopwords, punctuations, selective POS tags and lemmatization. Frequency distribution of n-grams are computed, and weightage of n-grams is assigned. For each n-gram, sum of weights across all text strings is computed and a maximum weightage is identified. The computed value as a result of taking a ratio of two, is assigned to each of the n-grams. Values computed for the n-grams have a non-normal distribution, when observed statistically. Thus, the n-gram values are transformed to confidence value following a normal distribution. The system maps the n-gram domains using a domain lexicon. Finally, these domains are aggregated and converged for subject identification based on a pre-annotated mapping dictionary.

  • Patent number: 11914050
Abstract: A Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver for a portable device includes a first linear polarization antenna configured to receive a first linear polarization component of a GNSS signal; a second linear polarization antenna configurable to receive a second linear polarization component of the GNSS signal, a radio frequency signal conforming to a second wireless communication technology, or both; and a hybrid coupler that combines the first linear polarization component of the GNSS signal and the second linear polarization component of the GNSS signal to generate a circularly polarized GNSS signal. In some embodiments, the GNSS receiver includes a tuner to tune the resonant frequency of the second linear polarization antenna. In some embodiments, the GNSS receiver includes a switch or a filter to connect or disconnect the second linear polarization antenna from the hybrid coupler to implement a circular polarization antenna or a linear polarization ante.

  • Patent number: 11914993
Abstract: An aggregate representation of a collection of source code examples is constructed. The collection includes positive examples that conform to a coding practice and negative examples do not conform to the coding practice. The aggregate representation includes nodes corresponding to source code elements, and edges representing relationships between code elements. Using an iterative analysis of the aggregate representation, a rule to automatically detect non-conformance is generated. The rule is used to provide an indication that a set of source code is non-conformant.

  • Publication number: 20240061563
Abstract: A set of images is accessed from a server. The set is analyzed to identify objects in each image using object recognition algorithms. A primary image that includes more of the identified objects than any of the other images of the set is determined. For each of the identified objects in the primary image, a secondary image that includes the identified object and has a higher magnification than the primary image is determined. Links are inserted into the primary image at locations including an identified object that is also in a secondary image. The primary image is displayed and, upon receiving a selection of one of the links, the secondary image that includes the identified object at the location of the selected link is displayed. The set of images is ordered based on relative positions of the identified objects in each image and then linked together based on the ordering.

  • Publication number: 20240059322
Abstract: An example method to control an autonomous vehicle includes receiving a first signal and receiving a second signal. The first signal includes a first set of parameters that define a planned trajectory for the autonomous vehicle. The second signal includes a second set of parameters that define a planned trajectory for the autonomous vehicle. The method also includes generating a third signal by modifying the first set of parameters of the first signal to include the second set of parameters of the second signal. The method also includes outputting the third signal.

  • Patent number: 11907905
Abstract: Techniques for managing namespaces in a multi-cluster management (MCM) system to facilitate multi-cluster application development are provided. In one set of embodiments, a computer system executing the MCM system can create a workspace for an application being developed by a software development team of an organization, where the workspace is a logical grouping of namespaces on which the application has been or will be deployed, and where at least a subset of the namespaces can belong to different clusters of the organization. The computer system can then assign a member of the development team as a workspace administrator of the workspace, thereby enabling that development team member to perform management tasks on the workspace and its member namespaces via the MCM system (e.g., creating and adding namespaces to the workspace, setting access/image/network policies on the workspace, etc.), without help from the organization's IT staff.
