  • Patent number: 12190345
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable media may facilitate buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) transactions at brick-and-mortar locations of merchants that otherwise lack an ability to interface with financial institutions (FIs) that finance BNPL transactions. Likewise, the system may be used to conduct BNPL transactions for merchants that lack an electronic commerce presence. For example, a payment network used to process payment cards such as credit cards may be leveraged to communicate with user devices, merchant point of sale (POS) terminals, and BNPL servers operated by FIs to mediate BNPL transactions. In particular, the payment network may receive, from merchants, a list of items that are eligible for BNPL transactions and installment offers from FIs to pay for BNPL transactions. The payment network may match eligible items with installment offers, select the best installment offers for the buyer, and mediate exchanges between the parties to settle payments for the BNPL transaction.

  • Patent number: 12174722
Abstract: An aspect of the present disclosure facilitates characterizing operation of software applications having large number of components. In one embodiment, a digital processing system receives a first data indicating invocation types and corresponding invocation counts at an entry component for multiple block durations, where the entry component causes execution of internal component of the software application. The system also receives a second data indicating values for a processing metric at the internal components for the same block durations. The system then constructs for each internal component, a corresponding component model correlating the values for the processing metrics at the internal component indicated in the second data to the invocation types and invocation counts of the entry component indicated in the first data. The component models can aid in the performance management of the software application.

  • Publication number: 20240422677
Abstract: A Wi-Fi wake-up receiver that receives wake-up signals encoded using orthogonal frequency division multiplexing based on-off keying (OFDM-OOK) modulation includes receiver circuitry having analog envelope detector circuitry configured to non-linearly down-convert an input signal and provide an energy signal for sampling by an analog-to-digital converter (ADC). A wake-up signal for waking up a main radio in a Wi-Fi device can be based on the digitized energy signal. The receiver circuitry can further include, upstream of the envelope detector circuitry and the ADC in the signal chain, an analog mixer for linearly down-converting the input signal and a low-pass filter for attenuating adjacent-channel interferer (ACI) signals prior to the non-linear down-conversion by the envelope detector circuitry. Sampling of the energy signal rather than the higher-bandwidth input signal yield power savings in the ADC and associated circuitry such as a modem.
