  • Patent number: 11690070
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described According to one or more aspects of the present disclosure, a user equipment (UE) may receive an uplink grant of an uplink transmission from the UE to the base station. The UE may identify a packet transmission mode indicated in the uplink grant. The indication may specify whether the UE is to transmit the uplink transmission using a default mode, such as a first-in first-out mode, or a packet-group transmission mode. The UE may determine packets for inclusion in a transmission payload for the uplink transmission based on the identified transmission mode and transmit the uplink transmission in accordance with the packet transmission mode and the uplink grant.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A device may manage an end-to-end delay budget for wireless communications. The communication device may receive semi-static control signaling indicating a packet delay requirement. The communication device may receive dynamic control signaling from a different device indicating a packet delay measurement for one or more of a packet or a group of packets associated with the wireless communication in one or more of a downlink or an uplink. The communication device may adjust a packet delay parameter to compensate a delay for one or more of the downlink or the uplink based on the packet delay requirement and the packet delay measurement, and may communicate in the downlink, the uplink, or both based on the adjusted packet delay parameter.

  • Patent number: 11652520
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. According to one or more aspects, a device, such as a user equipment (UE), may receive downlink control information, and may determine assignment information for processing batch-based feedback based on the downlink control information. The UE may determine the batch-based feedback for a batch of downlink transmissions (for example, transmissions associated with packets of information) that are configured to be processed together by the UE. The UE may receive a downlink transmission from the base station, and may construct a codebook based on assignment information and the downlink transmission. In some examples, the UE may determine acknowledgment feedback for the downlink transmission based on the codebook. The UE may transmit the acknowledgment feedback to the base station.

  • Publication number: 20230144525
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that the UE has received, from a network, a sufficient quantity of protocol data units (PDUs) to decode a frame. Accordingly, the UE may indicate, to the network, that the UE has decoded the frame. Similarly, the UE may determine that the network has received, from the UE, a sufficient quantity of PDUs to decode a frame. Accordingly, the UE may refrain from transmitting one or more additional PDUs associated with the frame. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE may receive, from the network, an indication to disable some feedback to the network. Accordingly, the UE may refrain from transmitting one or more feedback signals based at least in part on the indication. Numerous other aspects are described.
