    Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, a method for operating a Pseudo-Random Pattern Generator (PRPG) based scan test system includes: generating test patterns using a Pseudo-Random Pattern Generator (PRPG), generating the test patterns including clocking the PRPG using a first clock signal; loading the test patterns into a plurality of scan chains coupled to the PRPG; modifying a bit distribution of the generated test patterns with respect to the plurality of scan chains by freezing at least one clock cycle of the first clock signal while a second clock signal is active or freezing at least one clock cycle of the second clock signal while the first clock signal is active; shifting the loaded test patterns using the second clock signal; applying the test patterns to a circuit under test (CUT) through the plurality of scan chains; and capturing response patterns generated by the CUT in the plurality of scan chains.

    Abstract: A cell culture apparatus comprises adjacent cell culture modules with each module including culture medium reservoirs connected by flow channels. The flow channels go through a basal chamber under an apical chamber. These chambers are separated by a porous membrane. The basal chamber has a bottom part higher than a bottom part of each of the reservoirs. Flows of culture media may be perfused and regulated between the reservoirs in each module by placing the apparatus on a rocking platform or connecting the apparatus to a pneumatic pump. The apparatus may cultivate cells of the same or different types on the basal surface of the porous membranes in the modules under unform and controlled in vitro conditions. Deposition of cells on the basal surface of the porous membranes may be provided without having to invert the apparatus and to use high concentrations of the cells in the culture medium.

The reset circuit pulls the output of the filter high when an input signal to the electric circuit and the output of the inverter circuit are both low, pulls the output of the filter low when the input signal to the electric circuit and the output of the inverter circuit are both high, and passes the output of the filter when (i) the input signal to the electric circuit is high and the output of the inverter circuit is low or (ii) the input signal to the electric circuit is low and the output of the inverter circuit is high.

The I/O supply output signal has a low voltage value when the I/O supply voltage of the chip is below a medium voltage level and the I/O supply output signal having a high voltage value when the I/O supply voltage of the chip is above the medium voltage level. The medium voltage is above a threshold voltage of the transistor of the I/O circuit and below the high voltage value. The circuit uses the I/O supply output signal to provide a reference voltage as input to the transistor of the I/O circuit.

    Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to system and method for optimization of industrial processes, for example a tundish process. Typically geometries for industrial processes are simulated in a numerical analysis model such as a CFD. In order to simulate a physical phenomenon (such as tundish process) numerically, the domain thereof is discretized in order to convert the differential equations to be solved in the domain into linear equations. The accuracy of a CFD solution is dependent on a mesh of the domain, which in turn depends on a geometry thereof. For setting up an optimization task, the disclosed method provides first a CFD friendly base geometry, so that a faulty geometry can be detected before forming the complete geometry.
