Publication number: 20230086373Abstract: The disclosure describes techniques that enable detection of memory leaks of software executing on devices within a computer network. An example network device includes memory and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry monitors a usage of the memory by a software component operating within the network device. The processing circuitry periodically determines a memory growth pattern score for the software component based on the usage of the memory. The processing circuitry also predicts whether the user-level process is experiencing a memory leak based on the memory growth pattern score. The processing circuitry applies confirmation criteria to current memory usage of the software component to confirm that the software component is experiencing the memory leak. When the software component is experiencing the memory leak, the processing circuitry generates an alert.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 18, 2022Publication date: March 23, 2023Inventors: Prateek Halwe, Amit Arora, Harmeet Singh, Rahul Chandra Khali

Patent number: 11507710Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to system and method for optimization of industrial processes, for example a tundish process. Typically geometries for industrial processes are simulated in a numerical analysis model such as a CFD. In order to simulate a physical phenomenon (such as tundish process) numerically, the domain thereof is discretized in order to convert the differential equations to be solved in the domain into linear equations. The accuracy of a CFD solution is dependent on a mesh of the domain, which in turn depends on a geometry thereof. For setting up an optimization task, the disclosed method provides first a CFD friendly base geometry, so that a faulty geometry can be detected before forming the complete geometry.Type: GrantFiled: February 17, 2021Date of Patent: November 22, 2022Assignee: TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES LIMITEDInventors: Prateek Singh, Dilshad Ahmad, Saurabh Mangal

Patent number: 11449920Abstract: This disclosure describes, in part, techniques for providing add-ons associated with network applications. For instance, a user may be controlling an application that is executing on a remote system using a control device and a display device. While the application is executing, the remote system may send user interface data to the display device, where the user interface data represents a user interface that includes add-ons that may be acquired for the application. If the user selects an add-on, the display device may communicate with a payment system in order to acquire the add-on. The remote system may then determine that the user acquired the add-on using data received from the display device and/or data received from a management system associated with the application. As such, the remote system may enable the add-on for the user within the application.Type: GrantFiled: December 12, 2019Date of Patent: September 20, 2022Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Matt Adams, Anjana Singh, Prateek Thukral, Kapil Gulati, Himanshu Soni

Publication number: 20140304195Abstract: A method of funding of Research and Development projects which allows financial market investors to invest in R&D projects. The method addresses the two existing problems of: (i) Lack of financial information with regards to R&D projects, and (ii) High risk of investments in R&D projects, faced by the financial market investors. The method comprises of doing a financial valuation of intellectual properties expected to result from the research projects, creating financial instruments representing ownership of financial interest in intellectual properties (thereby giving the choice to the investors to make investment as per their risk profile and reduce the perceived risk), pricing these financial instruments, producing financial information necessary for an investor to make investment in these instruments and offering the instruments for sale along with the financial information. Funds generated from sale of these instruments are then used for carrying out the R&D project further.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 12, 2012Publication date: October 9, 2014Inventor: Prateek SINGH
