  • Patent number: 11507710
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to system and method for optimization of industrial processes, for example a tundish process. Typically geometries for industrial processes are simulated in a numerical analysis model such as a CFD. In order to simulate a physical phenomenon (such as tundish process) numerically, the domain thereof is discretized in order to convert the differential equations to be solved in the domain into linear equations. The accuracy of a CFD solution is dependent on a mesh of the domain, which in turn depends on a geometry thereof. For setting up an optimization task, the disclosed method provides first a CFD friendly base geometry, so that a faulty geometry can be detected before forming the complete geometry.

  • Patent number: 10546168
Abstract: A device receives, from a tag reader device of a plurality of tag readers, information associated with a scan of a tag, where each of the plurality of tag readers is configured to read a different type of tag. The device determines, based on the information associated with the scan, a tag reader type associated with the tag reader device, where the plurality of tag readers is associated with a corresponding plurality of tag reader types. The device includes a plurality of parsers associated with the plurality of tag reader types, and identifies a parser, included in the device, associated with the tag reader type associated with the tag reader device. The device determines, using the parser, a tag identifier based on the information associated with the scan. Based on determining that the tag identifier is valid, the device transmits the information associated with the scan to a server.

  • Publication number: 20140304195
Abstract: A method of funding of Research and Development projects which allows financial market investors to invest in R&D projects. The method addresses the two existing problems of: (i) Lack of financial information with regards to R&D projects, and (ii) High risk of investments in R&D projects, faced by the financial market investors. The method comprises of doing a financial valuation of intellectual properties expected to result from the research projects, creating financial instruments representing ownership of financial interest in intellectual properties (thereby giving the choice to the investors to make investment as per their risk profile and reduce the perceived risk), pricing these financial instruments, producing financial information necessary for an investor to make investment in these instruments and offering the instruments for sale along with the financial information. Funds generated from sale of these instruments are then used for carrying out the R&D project further.
