  • Publication number: 20250028654
Abstract: A circuit may enable communication between a primary device and one or more secondary devices. The communication may utilize a Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UART) protocol. In operation, the primary device may require information on the baud rate of the secondary device. The UART may operate in an inverted polarity mode, and this inverted polarity may be interpreted by the secondary device as a request to enter an auto-baud detection mode. Using the inverted polarity mode to enter the auto-baud detection mode may prevent excessive delays in the UART communication and may prevent the need for additional pins to implement the auto-baud detection mode.

  • Publication number: 20240394187
Abstract: Reclamation of a portion of a cache memory in a cloud computing environment is described herein. A cache activeness signal is received from a cache broker. The cache activeness signal is representative of a usage of a first set of cache entries of the cache memory by a first group of computing nodes in a cluster of nodes. A determination to reclaim a portion of the first set of cache entries or of a second set of cache entries is made based at least on the cache activeness signal. The second set of cache entries are utilized by a second group of computing nodes in the cluster of nodes. The determined portion of memory is reclaimed. In an aspect, the cache broker determines a usage of the set of cache entries by the first group of computing nodes and generates the cache activeness signal representative of the determined usage.

  • Patent number: 12148158
Abstract: The present subject matter discloses a system and method for automatically detecting and quantifying a plaque/stenosis in a vascular ultrasound scan data in real time using Deep learning models. The system receives a video data and selects one or more frames/images for further processing to detect and quantify the plaque in the artery. Based on the selected one or more frames, the system detects a region of interest (ROI) and further processes the ROI. The system selects end points of a deposits of the plaque by taking a maximum length of the plaque in the artery/plaque boundary and determines the orientation of the vascular ultrasound scan. Based on the orientation and the selected end points, the system determines a vessel/artery boundary to identify a size of the plaque. Based on the determined vessel boundary and the orientation, the system determines plaque segments and measures parameters of the plaque.
