For instance, image data related to an image displayed on the client device during a first virtual desktop session may be cached after terminating the first virtual desktop session. The cached data can then be used to display the same image, or a correlated image, on the client device during a subsequent remote desktop session, thereby avoiding the need to re-transport the image data over a network.

Abstract: The application relates to an image display method, apparatus, and system. An application program running on a server initiates an image display instruction for displaying an image on a remote client. The image is processed at the server according to an image processing policy which corresponds to the type or the name of the application program, and the processed image is sent to the remote client for display. The image processing policy takes into consideration of requirements of the client, thus the problem of mismatching between the processed image and the capacities of the client is avoided.

The peptides of the invention were found to facilitate the delivery of siRNA molecules into cells and to function in siRNA mediated silencing of cellular targets.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an image display method, apparatus, and system. After an image display instruction is obtained, an application program that triggers the image display instruction is determined, and an image is processed according to the application program and is sent to a client for display. Because image processing is performed according to an application program currently triggered by the client, a determined image processing policy meets current application requirements of the client, which avoids the problem in the prior art that an image finally displayed on the client does not meet current application requirements of the client when an image processing policy is determined according to image type recognition.

Abstract: An electrode composite material is disclosed in the invention. The electrode composite material comprises ABxCyDz, wherein A is selected from at least one of polypyrrole, polyacrylonitrile, and polyacrylonitrile copolymer; B comprises sulfur; C is selected from carbon material; D is selected from metal oxides, l?x?20, 0?y<l, and 0?z<1. Comparing to the prior art, the conductivity of the electrode composite material is obviously increased, the material is dispersed uniformly and the size of the material is small. The electrochemical performance of the electrode composite material is improved. It has a good cycle life and high discharging capacity efficiency. A method for manufacturing the electrode composite material, a positive electrode using the electrode composite material and a battery including the same are also disclosed in the invention.

Abstract: A surface light source apparatus with dual-side emitting light includes at least a cathode wire structure, a transparent anode structure, a fluorescent layer and a low-pressure gas layer. The transparent anode structure is a surface structure, wherein the cathode wire structure and the transparent anode structure are parallel to each other. The fluorescent layer is located between the cathode wire structure and the transparent anode structure. The low-pressure gas layer fills the space between the cathode wire structure and the transparent anode structure and functions to induce the cathode evenly emitting electrons. The electron mean free path of the low-pressure gas layer allows at least a sufficient number of electrons to directly impact the fluorescent layer under an operation voltage.

The fluid is typically allowed to enter into an energy transfer system, but if the contamination exceeds a certain level, the fluid should be prevented from entering the energy transfer system. The fluid is generally comprised of water expelled from a sugar processing operation.

Abstract: An illumination device includes a light tube holder including two connectors for receiving either a light-emitting diode (LED) tube or a fluorescent tube. The connector includes three conductive elastic pieces therein. One elastic piece is electrically connected to an LED tube drive circuit board and a fluorescent tube, and the other two elastic pieces are respectively electrically connected to the LED and fluorescent tube drive circuit boards. A normally closed switch is located in the one of the connectors. The switch has a first end connected between a power supply and a first end of a ballast, and a second end connected to a second end of the ballast. When the LED tube is mounted to the holder, the switch is closed, and when the fluorescent tube is mounted to the holder the switch is open.
