Abstract: A method for displaying a video image includes acquiring foreground information about a video image to be output, where the foreground information includes information that defines a size of a foreground picture. The method further includes determining an adjustment coefficient for the foreground picture according to the size of the foreground picture, a size and a resolution of a display device, and a preset adjustment rule. The preset adjustment rule indicates that the product of the adjustment coefficient for the foreground picture and a zooming multiple for display on the display device is equal to a fixed constant. The method also includes adjusting the video image to be output according to the adjustment coefficient for the foreground picture, and outputting, to the display device for display, the video image after adjustment.

Abstract: Forward Error Correction (FEC) coding is performed on data packets to generate verifying packets; corresponding information independent of a packet sequence number (SN) and denoting a corresponding relation between the data packets and the verifying packets is carried in the data packets, or in the verifying packets, or in the data packets and the verifying packets; the data packets and the verifying packets are transmitted by using a protocol based on a User Datagram Protocol (UDP). A method for receiving data packets and devices for transmitting and receiving data packets are further described. Thus, a receiving terminal correctly can recover lost data packets after a relay device modifies the packet SN.

Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention provide a method and device relating to multi-picture video image processing, which solve the problem in related art of the deterioration of the vision experience of the conventioneer as the characteristics of each sub-picture can not be satisfied simultaneously. Said method includes: receiving the data code stream of the sub-picture video images from several channels; equalizing the effect of said sub-picture video images with control parameters respectively according to the image characteristics of the sub-picture video images; synthesizing said equalized sub-picture video images to a multi-picture video image.
