A console can provide a VR/AR session to a user through a head wearable display. The console can determine that a first measurement of a primary link between the console and a head wearable display is less than a first threshold. The first measurement can include a quality metric of the primary link. The console can activate a secondary link between the console and the head wearable display. The console can determine whether a second measurement of the primary link between the console and the head wearable display is less than a second threshold. The console can transition when the second measurement is less than the second threshold, traffic on the primary link to the activated secondary link.

The head wearable display can dynamically cause, relative to the second time instance, the console to begin an uplink transmission.     Abstract: Systems and methods for beamforming include a device including at least one of a head wearable display (HWD) or a console. The device establishes a first connection between an active HWD radio-frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) and an active console RFIC. The device compares a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) of the first connection to an MCS threshold. The device performs MCS measurements for a second connection of at least one of an idle HWD RFIC or an idle console RFIC, while the first connection is maintained, in response to the MCS not satisfying the MCS threshold. The device compares the MCS measurements of the second connection to the MCS threshold. The device switches to the second connection when at least one of the one or more MCS measurements satisfies the MCS threshold and/or above the MCS of the first connection.

The process can further include exposing the silicon and/or the silicon containing structure to the mixture such that the mixture at least partially etches a roughened portion to leave a smoother surface of the silicon and/or the silicon containing structure.

The method can include heating the workpiece to a second temperature. The second temperature is greater than the first temperature. The method can include exposing the workpiece to a second gas mixture when the workpiece is at a second temperature to remove a residue from the workpiece.

    Abstract: Processes for surface treatment of a workpiece are provided. In one example implementation, organic radicals (e.g., methyl CH3 radicals) can be generated by exciting and/or dissociating hydrogen and/or inert gas (e.g., Ar, He, etc) molecules in a remote plasma source and a subsequent reaction with organic molecule (alkanes and alkenes). The organic radicals (e.g., methyl CH3 radicals) can be exposed to the silicon and/or silicon germanium surfaces. After exposure to the organic radicals, the silicon and/or silicon germanium surfaces can be stable in air for a time period (e.g., days) with reduced surface oxidation such that the silicon and/or silicon germanium surfaces can be effectively protected from oxidation. As such, native surface oxide removal process before subsequent process steps can be eliminated.

    Abstract: A method of resistance spot welding a workpiece stack-up comprising overlapping first and second steel workpieces is disclosed, wherein at least one of the steel workpieces comprises an advanced high-strength steel substrate. The workpiece stack-up is positioned between a pair of opposed first and second welding electrodes. A cover is disposed between at least one of the first steel workpiece and the first welding electrode or the second steel workpiece and the second welding electrode at an intended weld site. The workpiece stack-up is clamped between the first and second welding electrodes at the weld site such that at least one of the weld faces of the first and second welding electrodes presses against the cover. The first and second steel workpieces are welded together by passing an electrical current between the first and second welding electrodes at the weld site.
