Abstract: The present disclosure provides a display device including a liquid crystal layer having a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other, and the second surface has a light entrance region and a light outgoing region; a reflector within the liquid crystal layer and adjacent the first surface; a light absorbing layer on the first surface of the liquid crystal layer, the light absorbing layer including a first shielding layer, a second shielding layer and a filling layer therebetween, the second shielding layer is between the first shielding layer and the liquid crystal layer and has a first opening therein, and the liquid crystal layer is configured to modulate light incident from the light entrance region into first refracted light under a first voltage; and modulate the light incident from the light entrance region into second refracted light under a second voltage different from the first voltage.

Abstract: A vehicle control system includes a controller circuit in communication with a steering sensor and one or more perception sensors. The steering sensor is configured to detect a steering torque of a steering wheel of a host vehicle. The one or more perception sensors are configured to detect an environment proximate the host vehicle. The controller circuit is configured to determine when an operator of the host vehicle requests a take-over from fully automated control of the host vehicle based on the steering sensor. The controller circuit classifies the take-over request based on the steering sensor.

Abstract: A method for sharing a resource, includes: generating, by a first AI node, an association relation between the first AI node and at least one other AI node, in which the association relation is configured to generate an AI federal network; receiving, by the first AI node, resource sharing information; determining, by the first AI node, a target AI node of sharing resources with the first AI node based on the resource sharing information; determining, by the first AI node, a target resource to be shared based on the resource sharing information; and sharing, by the first AI node, the target resource with the target AI node through the AI federal network. Therefore, AI nodes realize resource sharing through the AI federal network, which is suitable for resource sharing scenarios of multiple different AI nodes and has good scalability, thereby greatly reducing the development difficulty and cost of resource sharing.

Abstract: A 3D package for semiconductor thermal management can include a 3D submount forming a mechanical block including at least one embedded channel formed within the mechanical block and configured to accept cooling liquid therethrough, a first tubular connection for providing cooling liquid to the at least one embedded channel, and a second tubular connection for removing cooling liquid from the at least one embedded channel. Integrated slots can be provided for accepting and mounting semiconductor components. Mounting holes can be formed in the mechanical block for securing optical elements. At least one semiconductor laser array die can be secured to the mechanical block at the integrated slots, wherein the at least one semiconductor laser array die is kept cool by the cooling liquid flowing through the at least one embedded channel.

A printing adjustment is determined based upon a time or time period that the fiducial is detected during the fiducial detection period.

Abstract: A server accesses a plurality of users' sessions with the web server. Each user session indicating a page flow of a corresponding user session for a plurality of web pages provided by the web server. The server generates a learning model using a neural network based on the plurality of users' sessions. The learning model is configured to predict a next user activity based on a current page flow of a current user session. The next user activity indicating one of continuing the current user session by visiting another web page provided by the web server and ending the current user session. The server dynamically adjusts a content of a web page based on the predicted next user activity.

In general, one innovative aspect of the subject matter described in this specification can be embodied in methods that include receiving information from a plurality of sensors coupled to a vehicle, determining that a level of confidence of the received information from at least one sensor of a first subset of sensors of the plurality of sensors is less than a first threshold, comparing a number of sensors in the first subset of sensors to a second threshold, and adjusting the driving capability of the vehicle to rely on information received from a second subset of sensors of the plurality of sensors, wherein the second subset of sensors excludes the at least one sensor of the first subset of sensors.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to technology for bulk initialization of memory in a computer system. The computer system comprises a processor core comprising a load store unit and a last level cache in communication with the processor core. The last level cache is configured to receive bulk store operations from the load store unit. Each bulk store operation includes a physical address in the memory to be initialized. The last level cache is configured to send multiple write transactions to the memory for each bulk store operation to perform a bulk initialization of the memory for each bulk store operation. The last level cache is configured to track status of the bulk store operations.

The video processing method is applied to a terminal device and can include that a video-frame tagging operation is detected during recording of a video. The video-frame tagging operation can tag a video frame in a recorded video at different times during recording of the video. The video frame can be tagged at different times during recording of the video according to the video-frame tagging operation. A final recorded video is generated based on the tagged video frame and an untagged video frame. The video frame is tagged through the detected video-frame tagging operation and the final recorded video is generated, so that a wonderful moment in the video can be rapidly located based on the tag of the video frame during video playback, and user experience may be improved.

A stress-engineered film having an intrinsic stress profile is deposited over the release layer. The stress-engineered film is patterned and the release layer is undercut etched so that a released portion of the patterned stress-engineered film is released from the surface while leaving an anchor portion fixed to the surface. The intrinsic stress profile in the stress-engineered film biases the released portion away from the surface. The released portion is placed entirely within an area defined by the metal contact material.

An apparatus comprises a hierarchy of caches comprising a first cache having a first cache controller and a second cache having a second cache controller. The first cache controller is configured to store cache lines evicted from a first processor group to the first cache and to down-evict cache lines from the first cache to the second cache. The second cache controller is configured to store cache lines evicted from a second processor group into the second cache, to up-evict a first cache line from the second cache to the first cache in response to an eviction of a second cache line from the second processor group to the second cache, and to provide the up-evicted first cache line from the first cache to the second processor group in response to a request from the second processor group.
