    Abstract: The disclosed embodiments disclose techniques for managing a distributed cache in a cloud-based distributed computing environment (CBDCE). During operation, an instance of a data processing layer service (DPL) receives a data request from a client that specifies an address and an operation for a target data block. The DPL instance uses these to determine a first cache instance of the distributed cache that is assigned to cache a metadata entry that links the address with a data block fingerprint for the target data block. The DPL instance then uses the data block fingerprint and the cache mapping to determine a second cache instance that is assigned to store the target data block, and then accesses the second cache instance to complete the operation for the target data block.

During operation, the system uses a distributed database to track the status of the CBDCE to ensure the ongoing stability and scalability of the CBDCE. Upon receiving a request that is associated with the configuration of the CBDCE, a service accesses CBDCE status information from the distributed database to respond to the request.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may select a random access channel (RACH) occasion (RO) based on one or more channel quality thresholds, such as reference signal received power (RSRP) thresholds. A base station may determine a set of RO types for receiving RACH transmissions. The base station may determine a channel quality threshold for each RO type. The base station may broadcast a configuration indicating the RO types and the associated channel quality thresholds. The UE may receive the configuration and measure a channel quality between the UE and the base station. Based on the measured channel quality, the UE may determine which RO types are available based on the indicated channel quality thresholds, and select an RO for transmitting a RACH preamble to establish a connection with the base station based on the available RO types.

    Abstract: B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) is expressed on malignant plasma cells. The present invention provides novel bispecific antibodies (bsAbs) that bind to both BCMA and CD3 and activate T cells via the CD3 complex in the presence of BCMA-expressing tumor cells. In certain embodiments, the bispecific antigen-binding molecules of the present invention are capable of inhibiting the growth of tumors expressing BCMA. The bispecific antigen-binding molecules of the invention are useful for the treatment of diseases and disorders in which an upregulated or induced BCMA-targeted immune response is desired and/or therapeutically beneficial. For example, the bispecific antibodies of the invention are useful for the treatment of various cancers, including multiple myeloma.

    Abstract: A streaming speech recognition model includes an audio encoder configured to receive a sequence of acoustic frames and generate a higher order feature representation for a corresponding acoustic frame in the sequence of acoustic frames. The streaming speech recognition model also includes a label encoder configured to receive a sequence of non-blank symbols output by a final softmax layer and generate a dense representation. The streaming speech recognition model also includes a joint network configured to receive the higher order feature representation generated by the audio encoder and the dense representation generated by the label encoder and generate a probability distribution over possible speech recognition hypotheses. Here, the streaming speech recognition model is trained using self-alignment to reduce prediction delay by encouraging an alignment path that is one frame left from a reference forced-alignment frame.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for dynamically activating and deactivating random-access channel (RACH) occasions (ROs). A base station may configure one or more ROs on which a user equipment (UE) can transmit RACH messages. If higher priority signaling (e.g., downlink signaling or uplink signaling) overlaps in time with the ROs, the base station may deactivate one or more ROs to decrease the likelihood of self-interference or cross-link interference (e.g., if the UE or the base station are operating in full duplex mode). The base station may deactivate or activate ROs by indicating indices for one or more ROs, indices for one or more synchronization signal blocks (SSBs), a pattern of ROs, some or all ROs within a time period, some or all ROs until a next downlink signal updates the RO configuration or activates ROs, or any combination thereof.

The method comprises injecting, into a female mold, a fluid needle liquid, wherein forming cavities matching the shapes of needles of a microneedle chip are provided at the female mold and form a cavity array, injection inlets are provided at a surface of one side of the female mold, and air ejection openings are provided at a surface of another side of the female mold to form an air ejection surface; covering the air ejection surface of the female mold using a breathable film, and during injection, passing a gas through the breathable film so as to retain the liquid inside the forming cavities; curing the fluid needle liquid to form the microneedle chip, and demolding to obtain the same. By employing the air ejection openings and the breathable film, a liquid is retained while ejecting a gas, providing a favorable micro-injection effect.

    Abstract: A first device sends a first message to a second device, where the first message indicates to the second device to hop to different channels at different times to send radio signals. The frequency bandwidth ranges of any two channels do not completely overlap, and the frequency bandwidth range of each channel is within a total frequency bandwidth range supported by the first device. The first device separately receives the radio signals that are sent by the second device on different channels at different times. The radio signals reach the first device after being reflected by an intermediate object. The first device measures the state information of the intermediate object based on the physical characteristics of the different radio signals that are separately received.
