  • Publication number: 20210337455
Abstract: Aspects relate to selecting a physical cell identifier (PCI) that a user equipment (UE) uses to obtain a timing reference for a mobility measurement. A serving base station (BS) associated with multiple cells may select a set of these cells as candidate cells for a UE and send to the UE a set of candidate PCIs associated with those cells (e.g., one PCI for each cell). The BS may select a subset of the candidate cells to serve to the UE and indicate to the UE the corresponding subset of PCIs. The UE may select a PCI from the set of candidate PCIs (or from the subset of PCIs) to use for obtaining a timing reference for a synchronization signal block (SSB) measurement. The UE may select a PCI based on a defined rule. The UE may select a PCI based on signaling from the BS.

  • Publication number: 20210337469
Abstract: In an aspect, a BS transmits a WUS that includes an indication of selected PCIs of a PCI group to a UE. The UE receives the WAS and monitors one or more configured DRX ON durations associated with the selected PCIs of the PCI group. In another aspect, a BS transmits a signal that includes dormancy status information for a set of selected PCIs to a UE. For each PCI in the set of selected PCIs indicated by the dormancy status information as associated with a dormant state, the UE refrains from PDCCH monitoring on a dormant BWP to which the respective PCI transitions. For each PCI in the set of selected PCIs indicated by the dormancy status information as associated with a non-dormant state, the UE performs PDCCH monitoring on a non-dormant BWP to which the respective PCI transitions.

  • Publication number: 20210329473
Abstract: The present disclosure provides for a configuration that enables an apparatus to determine beam pairs for full duplex communication based on a cross-link interference procedure. The apparatus determines a subset of receive beams based on a beam measurement process, where each receive beam is associated with a different antenna array panel. In some aspects, the apparatus performs a channel measurement process based on the subset of receive beams. The apparatus sweeps through transmitted sounding reference signals from a same transmit beam corresponding to each receive beam of an antenna array panel and receives the transmitted sounding reference signals incrementally through other receive beams associated with other antenna array panels. The apparatus measures a self-interference for at least one beam pair of the subset of receive beams based on a received sounding reference signal.
