  • Publication number: 20240064540
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive a control message indicating a set of interference measurement resources (IMRs) for reference signal transmission associated with radio link monitoring or beam failure monitoring. The first UE may receive, from a second UE via the set of IMRs, reference signals associated with radio link monitoring or beam failure monitoring based on the control message. The first UE may transmit, in response to receiving the reference signals, a beam failure report associated with the radio link monitoring or the beam failure monitoring based on one or more measurements of the one or more reference signals. In some examples, the beam failure report may indicate that beam failure is associated with cross-link interference (CLI) from the second UE.

  • Patent number: 11909691
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for reducing the overhead associated with reporting feedback, such as hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback. A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration message from a base station indicating that the UE is to request resources for transmitting negative acknowledgment (NACK) feedback for a downlink transmission. If the UE fails to receive or decode the downlink transmission, the UE may request resources from the base station on which to transmit the NACK feedback for the downlink transmission. Because the UE may be configured to request resources on which to transmit the NACK feedback, the UE may avoid transmitting HARQ feedback for every downlink transmission from the base station. Thus, the base station may avoid allocating resources for HARQ feedback from the UE for every downlink transmission, and the overhead of reporting HARQ feedback is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20240056899
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may adjust signaling in a slot configured for subband full-duplex (SBFD) communications based on receiving scheduling information indicating a signal. In a first option, a corresponding subband may be extended to include the signal. If there are remaining frequency resources, the remaining reverse-direction subband may be used for corresponding communications. In a second option, the remaining frequency resources of the reverse-direction subband may be used for same-direction communications as the signal. In a third option, the signal may be canceled, or a portion of the signal that is outside the corresponding subband may be canceled. In a fourth option, the signal may be treated as an error. In some examples, the options may be configured based on a type of the signal, or based on a priority level of the signal.

  • Publication number: 20240057143
Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to mitigating interference between user equipment (UE) based on sensing signals from serving network nodes. In some aspects, a signal metric of a downlink transmission from a victim serving network node that serves a victim UE can be measured, and an uplink transmission can be transmitted or refrained from transmitting to a serving network node that serves the aggressor UE based on comparing the signal metric to a threshold related to inter-UE cross link interference. In other aspects, a signal metric of a downlink control information (DCI) from an aggressor network node that schedules uplink transmission for an aggressor UE can be measured and a downlink transmission can be received or refrained from receiving from a serving network node that serves the victim UE based on comparing the signal metric to a threshold related to inter-UE cross link interference.
