  • Patent number: 10306671
Abstract: Current approaches to transmitting uplink data in a network often require resources to be granted. In an example, a node or apparatus may configure a plurality of devices to operate in a grant-less mode in accordance with a respective grant-less access allocation. Grant-less operations may be managed, for example, to meet the reliability and latency requirements and battery life requirements for different types of devices. For example, the state transition between grant-less and grant based may be managed.

  • Publication number: 20190153110
Abstract: The present invention encompasses PRLR binding proteins. Specifically, the invention relates to antibodies that are chimeric, CDR grafted and humanized antibodies. Preferred antibodies have high affinity for hPRLR and neutralize hPRLR activity in vitro and in vivo. An antibody of the invention can be a full-length antibody or an antigen-binding portion thereof. Methods of making and methods of using the antibodies of the invention are also provided. The antibodies, or antibody portions, of the invention are useful for detecting hPRLR and for inhibiting hPRLR activity, e.g., in a human subject suffering from a disorder in which hPRLR activity is detrimental. Also included in the invention are anti-PRLR antibody drug conjugates (ADCs).

  • Patent number: 10289626
Abstract: Seed patterns are derived from a sequence database. Execution costs for types of seed patterns are computed. Each seed pattern is iteratively distributed to distributed nodes along with that seed pattern's assigned execution cost. The distributed nodes processing in parallel to mine the sequence database for super patterns found in the sequence database. When a distributed node exhausts its execution budget, any remaining mining needed for the seed pattern being mined is reallocated to another distributed node having remaining execution budget.

  • Patent number: 10281143
Abstract: A fuel-fired heating appliance comprises a burner and a first housing adjacent the burner so that an interior of the first housing receives combustion gasses from combustion at the burner. A heat exchanger defines a second housing with an inlet proximate an outlet of the first housing so that the inlet of the second housing receives combustion gasses from the outlet of the first housing, and wherein the first and second housings attach at an interface. A barrier extends within, and across an interface between, the outlet of the first housing and the inlet of the second housing and defines a thermal resistance that inhibits heat transfer from the combustion gasses to the interface.

  • Patent number: 10284272
Abstract: A channel estimation apparatus and method are provided to ensure that a channel estimation value can correctly reflect a transmission channel status, so that an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM)-based wireless system can correctly transmit an aggregate long frame according to the channel estimation value. The channel estimation apparatus determines a first channel estimation value, receives a first symbol group of a long frame according to the first channel estimation value, and determines a second channel estimation value according to the first symbol group, and if a difference between the first channel estimation value and the second channel estimation value is less than or equal to a first threshold, determines a third channel estimation value according to the first channel estimation value and the second channel estimation value.

  • Patent number: 10261885
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for debug event handling. For example, methods may include receiving a request from a client device. Methods may include, responsive to receiving the request, identifying a set of instructions to be executed, wherein the set of instructions is associated with at least one breakpoint. Methods may include initiating execution of the set of instructions. Methods may include pausing execution of the set of instructions when an instruction of the set of instructions associated with a breakpoint is reached. Methods may include, after the breakpoint is reached and before a new request is received from the client device, transmitting, to the client device, a message that indicates that a breakpoint has been reached. Methods may include terminating execution of the set of instructions responsive to determining that a debugger interface on the client device is no longer available to control execution of the set of instructions.

  • Publication number: 20190074782
Abstract: A motor starting state recognition method and device, and a motor. The method includes sampling the counter electromotive forces of any two phases of a motor, and calculating a linear counter electromotive force of the motor according to the counter electromotive forces of the two phases, acquiring a polarity flag bit of the motor, and determining the starting state of the motor according to the polarity flag bit and the linear counter electromotive force. The state of a motor before starting can be recognized effectively using the method, so that the problem where a motor may not be started normally or the success rate of starting is low under the condition of a favorable/dead wind is effectively solved, and the problem where a motor becomes severely worn out and has a shorter service life after frequent starting due to starting failure is avoided. Moreover, the method is simple and highly accurate, and the success rate and reliability of system starting are effectively improved.
