    Abstract: Method to generate microfractures by chemical reaction in low carbonate mineral content shale reservoirs in which sulfate acid or persulfate compound (such as ammonium persulfate ((NH4)2S2O8) at a relatively high content) injected into conventional fracturing fluid can react with shale carbonate components resulting in the precipitation reaction of gypsum crystal (CaSO4.2H2O) to occur because an insoluble calcium sulfate (CaSO4) solid is formed. It has been found that expansion stress generated by rapid crystallization in the shale nanoscale pore space can intensively crack shale rocks without additional energy input. Not only does this lead to the formation of much denser secondary microfracture networks, it also can increase SRV by the micrometer-scale gypsum crystals prohibiting these secondary microfracture networks from closure under a normal stress, thereby, improve the efficiency of hydraulic fracturing and hydrocarbon production.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a silty marine natural gas hydrate gravel stimulation mining method and a mining device. The mining method appropriately relaxes the sand retention accuracy of a wellbore, so that the fine sand and muddy components of the stratum can flow into the wellbore, and after a certain period of production, the coarse gravels are injected into the extra-pipe stratum of the production well to fill the deficit caused by the production of the fine components of the stratum and the hydrates, and then the well is opened for production. The method achieves the triple objectives of improving the productivity of the silty reservoir, preventing the large-area deficit in the stratum and extending the effective period of the sand retention of the wellbore, by way of the alternation of the rounds of the gravel injection and the hydrate reservoir fluid extraction.

The forming and surface quality control of the deep cone shaped charge liner are realized by the control technology of the present invention; the plasticity of the material is improved, and fine crystal structures are obtained; and an ultrafine grain gradient structure distributed along the thickness direction is formed in the inner surface of the shaped charge liner.

    Abstract: A method of forming a hybrid physically and chemically cross-linked double-network hydrogel with highly recoverable and mechanical properties in a single-pot synthesis is provided. The method comprises the steps of combining the hydrogel precursor reactants into a single pot. The hydrogel precursor reactants include water; a polysaccharide; a methacrylate monomer; an ultraviolet initiator; and a chemical crosslinker. Next the hydrogel precursor reactants are heated to a temperature higher than the melting point of the polysaccharide and this temperature is retained until the polysaccharide is in a sol state. Then the single-pot is cooled to a temperature lower than the gelation point of the polysaccharide and this temperature is retained to form a first network. Thereafter, photo-initiated polymerization of the methacrylate monomer occurs via the ultraviolet initiator to form the second network.

The shaped charge liner prepared by the present invention has high dimensional accuracy, good geometric symmetry, low stress value, and excellent stability in the precise machining process and in use, which may significantly improve the penetration capability and stability of the shaped charge liner of high-explosive anti-tank warheads.
