The I/O circuit is coupled to the P groups of banks and configured to direct P×N pieces of data to or from P×N working banks, respectively. One of the M redundant banks is coupled with at least two main banks of the N main banks through the I/O circuit. The I/O control logic is configured to in responding to K main banks of the P groups of banks failed, determine the P×N working banks including K redundant banks of P×M redundant banks, where K is a positive integer not greater than P, and control the I/O circuit to direct P×N pieces of data to or from the P×N working banks, respectively.

The laminations are arranged in packs of at least one lamination. A group of fins (28) in one pack of laminations lies circumferentially between two adjacent groups of fins in an adjacent pack of laminations. A cooling fin (28) in one pack of laminations is interposed between two cooling fins in a group of cooling fins in another non-adjacent pack of laminations. This can allow a good thermal performance to be achieved while at the same time providing good mechanical strength and being cost effective to manufacture.

    Abstract: Internet of Things (IoT) devices lack conventional user interfaces, such as keyboards and displays, which make many traditional pairing approaches inapplicable. Proximity-based pairing approaches are very usable, but can be exploited by co-located malicious devices. A secure and usable pairing approach that can be applied to heterogeneous IoT devices still does not exist. The presently disclosed Universal Operation Sensing allows an IoT device to sense the user's physical operations on it without requiring inertial sensors. With this technique, a user holding a smartphone or wearing a wristband can finish pairing in seconds through some very simple operations, e.g., pressing a button or twisting a knob. A presently disclosed pairing protocol uses faithful fuzzy commitment, which is secure and usable.

An MBSSID beacon can be generated using the MBSSID VAP as a transmitted VAP (TX VAP) of the MBSSID beacon. The MBSSID VAP serves as a TX-VAP that is not subject to changes and does not need to be interrupted to have changes made to it. As the MBSSID VAP serves as a TX VAP that is not subject to changes or interruptions, the MBSSID based on the MBSSID VAP does not need to be interrupted for changes to be made to other VAPs associated with the MBSSID.
