  • Publication number: 20120249128
Abstract: A linear sensor system includes a first field sensor displaced linearly from a second field sensor. A member having high magnetic permeability is disposed between the first field sensor and the second field sensor. The member is optimized in shape and material to completely remove any redirection or interference of the magnetic flux in the field sensors. A torque transmitting device incorporating the linear sensor system is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20120198968
Abstract: A method for producing metallic magnesium by vacuum circulating silicothermic process and apparatus thereof The method comprises the following steps: passing molten ferrosilicon (109) of 1350˜1600° C. and magnesium ore powder containing magnesia blended therein through a vacuum container (104) with a vacuum of 350˜10000 Pa periodically in a manner of circulating flow, and collecting liquid magnesium (201), i.e. the magnesium vapor released upon condensing. The apparatus comprises a heating container (101) and a vacuum container (104) connected with an elevating dip pipe (102) and a falling dip pipe (103) whose lower ends immersed into the molten ferrosilicon (109) in the heating container (101). An inert gas blowing device is inserted into the elevating dip pipe (102) wall. The method and apparatus thereof can improve productivity.

  • Publication number: 20110073999
Abstract: This invention discloses a mixed alloy lead frame for power semiconductor devices, which includes a plurality of heat sinks and a pin array; the heat sinks are made of the first material, with positioning holes on their upper parts and welding zones at the center of their lower parts, while the pin array is made of the second material, which is different from the first material, with a plurality of sets of terminals leading out from its upper end and lower end respectively. The heat sinks are positioned on the lead frame assembly welding plate, the pin is positioned in the area between the upper heat sinks and lower heat sinks on the lead frame assembly welding plate. The mixed alloy lead frame for power semiconductor devices in this invention improves the heat dissipation of lead frame, reduces the fabrication cost of lead frame, and enhances the flexibility of fabrication.

  • Publication number: 20020012367
Abstract: When an IGBT turns on, a current from a laser power supply unit is supplied via a switching element to an excitation lamp of a laser oscillation unit so that the excitation lamp lights to oscillatorily output a laser beam. A switching control unit uses as a main feedback signal a measured-value-of-laser-output signal from a laser output measurement unit and uses as a sub-feedback signal for correction an AC component of a lamp measured-value-of-power signal from a power computing circuit or of a measured-value-of-lamp-current signal from a current measuring circuit. The switching control unit compares the feedback signals with a reference signal having a desired pulse waveform from a CPU to obtain a comparison error. The switching control unit then generates a switching control signal, PWM so as to nullify the comparison error and provides a switching control of the IGBT via a drive circuit in response to the switching control signal.
