    Abstract: A method is for detecting loss-of-lock of a GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) signal tracking loop based on frequency compensation, comprising the following steps of: performing multi-channel frequency compensation on I-channel and Q-channel signals after down-conversion, pseudo-code stripping and integration clearing; then, performing coherent integration and non-coherent integration for a fixed time, and taking a maximum value of non-coherent integration results as a signal value; performing parabolic interpolation frequency identification, and taking an average value of the non-coherent integration results with the frequency differences of +/?50 Hz and +/?100 Hz as a noise value; and finally, calculating a ratio of the signal value to the noise value, and performing loss-of-lock detection with the ratio as a detection volume.

    Abstract: Techniques are described for providing a hybrid compensation of chromatic dispersion in optical networks to reduce power consumption by coherent receivers. In some examples, a controller may receive a chromatic dispersion value of an optical signal from a coherent receiver integrated with a receiver optical network device. The controller may compare the chromatic dispersion value with a threshold. The controller may, in response to determining that the chromatic dispersion value satisfies the threshold, perform at least one of: configure a switch connected to a dispersion compensation module (DCM) with a state to provide access to the DCM to compensate the chromatic dispersion value of the optical signal, or adjust a phase response of a filter of a coherent transmitter to compensate the chromatic dispersion value of the optical signal.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for predicting fracture height during fracturing stimulation in multi-layer formation, comprising specific steps of: (1) acquiring basic parameters; (2) calculating a displacement discontinuity quantity of an artificial fracture; (3) calculating induced stress generated by the fracture; (4) calculating stress intensity factors at a fracture tip without considering a fracture tip plasticity; (5) calculating sizes of a plastic zone; (6) calculating stress intensity factors at the fracture tip considering the plastic zone; and (7) judging a relationship between the stress intensity factors and a fracture toughness. The present invention is suitable for multiple stratums, and the influences of parameters of tip plasticity, induced stress, crustal stress, and rock mechanics are considered so that a calculation result is more accurate and calculation efficiency is higher.
