    Abstract: A flow-driven forwarding strategy includes receiving an Interest packet, where the interest packet includes a flow state indicator. The content associated with the Interest packet is checked to determine whether that content is locally stored. Another check is performed to determine whether any previously received Interest packet has requested the content. In response to the content not being locally stored and no related Interest packet has been previously received, the flow state indicator is checked in the Interest packet. In response to the flow state indicator indicating that the Interest packet is associated with an active flow, forwarding information is extracted from a flow state table if a hop count has a value of zero or from the Interest packet if the hop count has a value greater than zero. The Interest packet is then forwarded to a next hop in accordance with the forwarding information.

    Abstract: Techniques for sharing item images based on a similarity score are described. For example, a machine receives an input item listing for an item from a user device. The machine accesses an existing image that may be associated with one or more existing item listings. The machine identifies a degree of similarity between the input item listing and the one or more existing item listings. The machine generates a similarity score for the existing image based on the degree of similarity. The machine selects one or more existing images corresponding to the one or more existing item listings based on the one or more existing images having corresponding similarity scores that exceed a threshold value. The machine transmits a communication to the user device in response to the receiving of the input item listing. The communication may include the one or more existing images.

A driver module of the wireless network adapter converts a wireless-protocol data packet received through the wireless network adapter into an Ethernet-protocol data packet. A network address translation (NAT) module determines a Socket associated with a source address and a destination address of the Ethernet-protocol data packet, and sends valid data of the Ethernet-protocol data packet through the Socket. Additionally or alternatively, the NAT module encapsulates data into the Ethernet-protocol data packet after receiving the data through the Socket, and the driver module converts the Ethernet-protocol data packet into the wireless-protocol data packet, and sends the wireless-protocol data packet through the wireless network adapter. The present disclosure can implement functions of a device hotspot and is not limited by an operating system framework.
