    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for multiple basic service set identifier (MBSSID) beaconing (from an access point (AP) standpoint) and MBSSID/virtual AP (VAP) scanning (from a client device perspective). To facilitate easier discovery of mesh APs/VAPs, BSSIDs associated with mesh VAPs can be advertised more frequently, e.g., being broadcast as a transmitted or non-transmitted BSSID in each MBSSID beacon. Additionally, information regarding mesh VAPs, such as mesh capability information, can be provided via intermediate discovery beacons or frames such that out-of-band scanning mechanisms can discover mesh VAPs faster. Additionally still, the existence of mesh VAPs can be advertised in a dedicated field of an MBSSID beacon.

Otherwise, if the CSI change rate does not exceed the second threshold, the AP may perform the channel sounding at a second time interval. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an effective way for channel sounding.

In particular, frames associated with Quality of Service (QoS}-sensitive traffic flows to be transmitted in a first direction are prioritized commensurate with frames to be transmitted in a second direction, different/opposite to that of the first direction. For example, UL traffic flows can be prioritized based on DL traffic flows, where the traffic flows belong to the same application flow, and vice versa, where DL traffic flows can be prioritized based on UL traffic flows for the same application flow.     Abstract: In embodiments of the present disclosure, there is provided an approach for connecting an access point (AP) to a wireless multi-hop network. An electronic device obtains device information of the AP in a wireless manner, and the electronic device and the AP can establish a wireless trusted connection based on the device information. Then, the electronic device transmits a configuration to the AP over the wireless trusted connection, wherein the configuration at least indicates an identifier of a wireless multi-hop network and a network role of the AP in the wireless multi-hop network. The AP then connects to the wireless multi-hop network according to the configuration. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a wireless trusted way to provision an AP, which requires little manual intervention and technical expertise, while ensuring the safety of the provisioning.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for uninterrupted multiple basic service set identifiers (MBSSIDs). In various embodiments, an MBSSID virtual access point (VAP) can be generated to facilitate an uninterrupted MBSSID. An access point (AP) can determine characteristics, or network properties, of VAPs associated with the AP. The AP can generate an MBSSID VAP based on the characteristics of the VAPs. An MBSSID beacon can be generated using the MBSSID VAP as a transmitted VAP (TX VAP) of the MBSSID beacon. The MBSSID VAP serves as a TX-VAP that is not subject to changes and does not need to be interrupted to have changes made to it. As the MBSSID VAP serves as a TX VAP that is not subject to changes or interruptions, the MBSSID based on the MBSSID VAP does not need to be interrupted for changes to be made to other VAPs associated with the MBSSID.

The method further comprises determining, from the plurality of RUs, a target RU for the client based at least in part on the plurality of channel qualities. The target RU is to be used by the client for a following transmission with the AP. A target RU with good channel quality will be assigned to the client, thus the transmission and overall system performance will be enhanced.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for adaptively enabling and disabling spatial reuse and adapting BSS color assignments based on various factors associated with a wireless network. A first AP in a wireless network can identify a second AP in a wireless network. The first AP and the second AP may be using the same wireless channel in the wireless network. The first AP can determine a signal strength, such as a received signal strength indicator (RSSI), associated with the second AP. The first AP can adapt its spatial reuse and BSS color assignment according to the signal strength and a signal strength threshold. By adaptively enabling and disabling spatial reuse and adapting BSS color assignments, the disclosed systems and methods provide for improved reuse of wireless mediums while avoiding collisions.

A trigger frame indicates a resource unit of one of the plurality of VAPs available for at least one corresponding client to access to the VAP. The method also comprises transmitting, by the AP, the plurality of trigger frames in parallel to the plurality of clients. By transmitting separate trigger frames for different clients in parallel, the efficiency of trigger frames can be improved and higher quality of service and lower collision will be provided.
