  • Publication number: 20200094238
Abstract: Methods for making porous materials having metal alloy nanoparticles formed therein are described herein. By preparing a porous material and delivering the precursor solutions under vacuum, the metal precursors can be uniformly embedded within the pores of the porous material. Once absorption is complete, the porous material can be heated in the presence of one or more functional gases to reduce the metal precursors to metal alloy nanoparticles, and embed the metal alloy nanoparticles inside of the pores. As such, the metal alloy nanoparticles can be formed within the pores, while avoiding surface wetting and absorption problems which can occur with small pores.

  • Patent number: 10560463
Abstract: Techniques allow DevOps personnel to perform incident management for cloud computing environments in a manner that maintains control over restricted data and the data plane. The DevOps personnel do not have access to restricted data or the ability to modify the cloud computing environment to gain access to restricted data. The incident management techniques include executing automatic operations to resolve an incident and allowing DevOps personnel to execute remote operations without providing the DevOps personnel access. A further incident management technique provides DevOps personnel with just-in-time (JIT) access that is limited to a certain level or type of access and limited in time. Still another technique for incident management is using an escort model, in which an escort session between operating personnel and DevOps personnel is established and connected to the cloud computing environment to allow the DevOps personnel access to the production environment while escorted by the operating personnel.

  • Patent number: 10120401
Abstract: A system for power grid distribution network control can monitor a power grid distribution network in real-time, detect an abnormal loading condition based on real-time measurements on the distribution network, and perform in real time, in response to the detected abnormal loading condition, a reconfiguration analysis of the distribution network. The reconfiguration analysis can be performed based on heuristic logic that combines real time depth first trace and breadth first division of nodes within the distribution system. Through the reconfiguration analysis process, the system can generate and implement a practical and optimized reconfiguration plan in real time so as to alleviate or eliminate an abnormal loading condition in time to prevent possible pre-matured failures of equipment and consequently save cost of equipment replacement and/or related power outages. Accordingly, the distribution network may operate with improved stability and reliability, and a cost of operation can be reduced.
