The Bluetooth device set comprises at least a first member device and a second member device. The first member device and the second member device may be configured in a first mode wherein uplink audio signal transmission is allowed, and the connections are carried out by isochronous streaming channels respectively. The first member device transmits captured voice data to the Bluetooth host device, while the second member device does not. When an event is triggered, the first member device can notify the second member device through direct wireless connection, so that the first member device and the second member device can carry out subsequent voice input handover procedures.

Abstract: A smart tourniquet for self-administering a medication is provided. When a patient needs to inject themselves with a medication, intravenously, called an “infusion,” the patient wears the smart tourniquet around their arm and tightens the device. While the patient is using the smart tourniquet, the device automatically records the date and time of the infusion, called a “timestamp”. The patient can also use the device to record the dosage or “number of units” taken at the time of the infusion. The smart tourniquet can store the timestamp as well as other related information as a record. At a later time, the patient can recall prior records on the smart tourniquet itself. The smart tourniquet can also be synchronized with an application and the records can be downloaded for review by the patient, nurse or doctor to render accurate and timely care.

Abstract: A method for converting a web service composition logic and an application server includes: obtaining a first BPEL process framework of an existing BPEL composition logic; generating a DAG composition logic according to the first BPEL process framework; obtaining an independent path group according to the DAG composition logic; analyzing an independent path grouping result to generate a second BPEL process framework; and filling a process of the second BPEL process framework to generate an executable process. An application server is provided to convert the web service composition logic. The method and the application server provided herein optimize the logic through parallelism or nesting of web service invocation, and improve the execution efficiency.

Abstract: A reader for automatically reading electronic voting machine paper audit records containing voting information encoded into barcodes printed on the audit records. The reader includes an optical imager for capturing images of barcodes printed on the audit records and a sensor for triggering the capture of images at the appropriate time. The reader further includes a drive mechanism for automatically advancing the audit records and stopping the records at the appropriate location so that the barcodes containing the voting information may be decoded. The reader is programmed to decode and interpret the encoded voting information and then provide the information to a host device. Once receipt of the information by the host has been confirmed, the reader automatically advances the audit record and repeated the decoding process.
