    Abstract: Disclosed are new metallocenes, catalyst systems, and processes, in which the catalyst systems may include metallocene-solid super acids (SSA) activator-support combinations. Ansa-metallocenes having a cyclopentadienyl ligand and a fluorenyl ligand bridged by a linking group of the formula >C[C6H2R1R22][R3] are described, wherein R1 is —O(CH2)mCH?CH2; each R2 is independently H or a C1-C20 hydrocarbyl group; R3 is H, a C1-C20 hydrocarbyl group, or [C6H2R4R52]; R4 is H, a C1-C20 hydrocarbyl group, or —O(CH2)nCH?CH2; each R5 is independently H or a C1-C20 hydrocarbyl group; and m and n are selected independently from an integer from 1 to 20. The catalyst systems exhibit high activity and produce polyethylenes with high molecular weights and low levels of long chain branching (LCB) as compared to polyethylenes produced with a benchmark metallocene.

    Abstract: Sulfated bentonite compositions are characterized by a total pore volume from 0.4 to 1 mL/g, a total BET surface area from 200 to 400 m2/g, and an average pore diameter from 55 to 100 Angstroms. The sulfated bentonite compositions also can be characterized by a d50 average particle size in a range from 15 to 50 ?m and a ratio of d90/d10 from 3 to 15. The sulfated bentonite compositions can contain a sulfated bentonite and from 10 to 90 wt. % of colloidal particles, or the sulfated bentonite compositions can contain a sulfated bentonite and from 0.2 to 10 mmol/g of zinc and/or phosphorus. These compositions can be utilized in metallocene catalyst systems to produce ethylene based polymers.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a keyboard backlight technology, and solves the problems of large demand for LEDs, high cost, high power consumption, complex design, and low brightness of conventional modules. Provided is an LED keyboard backlight module, comprising a backlight module and a key position module. The core lies in the innovative design of the backlight module: light position distribution areas are proportionally arranged on an FPC light board, and a light emitting module is installed thereon; the FPC light board is adhered with an LGP with an upper surface flush with the light emitting module. In the present invention, the quantity of LEDs is decreased from 90-300 to 10-90, thereby greatly reducing costs and power consumption, increasing brightness and yield, and simplifying module design.

    Abstract: A dual power supply transfer switch (SSATS) for switching between a first power supply (S1) and a second power supply (S2) to supply power to a load is provided, includes: a solid-state switch (SS); a mechanical switch (CTR); and a compensation power module (AUX). In the case that the S1 fails in supplying power to the load, the AUX uses the S2 to supply power to the load, and the output current of the S1 is reduced. After satisfying the turn off condition for the SS, the SS turns off the S1, the CTR turns off the S1 and turns on the S2. After the S2 is adjusted to synchronize with the phase of the output current of the S1, the SS turns on the S2 and the AUX stops outputting current. The SSATS provides advantages such as fast transfer, zero interruption, and short voltage sag time.

    Abstract: Matrix multiplication operations can be implemented, at least in part, on one or more tensor cores of a parallel processing unit. An efficiency of the matrix multiplication operations can be improved in cases where one of the input operands or the output operand of the matrix multiplication operation is a square matrix having a triangular data pattern. In such cases, the number of computations performed by the tensor cores of the parallel processing unit can be reduced by dropping computations and/or masking out elements of the square matrix input operand on one side of the main diagonal of the square matrix. In other cases where the output operand exhibits the triangular data pattern, computations can be dropped or masked out for the invalid side of the main diagonal of the square matrix. In an embodiment, a library implementing the matrix multiplication operations is provided.

A series of silyl-bridged bis(indenyl) metallocenes having an omega-(?-)alkenyl moiety on the silyl bridge were prepared and found to exhibit excellent polymerization activities and produced polyethylenes with broad molecular weight distributions, relatively high melt indices, and low levels of long chain branching (LCB) as compared with the silyl-bridged metallocenes absent an ?-alkenyl moiety on the silyl bridge.

    Abstract: In one set of embodiments, at the time the control plane of a peer in a multi-chassis system is shut down as part of a hitless reboot, the peer can identify one or more rules programmed in its data plane that (1) are configured on an ingress interface of a multi-chassis link aggregation group (MLAG) to which the peer is connected, and (2) specify a central processing unit (CPU) of the peer as a destination for matched network traffic. The peer can then change each identified rule to specify an inter-chassis link between the peer and another peer in the multi-chassis system, rather than the CPU of the peer, as the destination for matched network traffic.
