Abstract: A method for transmitting policy information between network equipment, extending protocol types of messages in layer-2, layer-3 or a higher application layer between an IP-uplink broadband user access equipment and a BRAS so as to construct a PITP to bear policy information; a PITP message includes a policy information transmission type field, an operation type field and a policy information content field, and different types of policy information are distinguished by the policy information transmission type field; transmission of the policy information is implemented through a point-to-point means or a broadcast means in layer-2, a unicast or a multicast in layer-3 or a higher application layer. The present invention implements policy information transmission, prevents account intrusions and hacker attacks, makes it convenient for the broadband user access equipment to implement dynamic QoS policy adjustment in terms of different users and makes it easy for integrated managing the online equipment.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and a device for crosstalk test in multi-subscriber communication line. The core of embodiments includes: first, transmitting a test signal in a selected line; then, receiving the signal in the line to be tested, and calculating the received signal according to the transmitted test signal; thus, determining whether there is crosstalk between the line to be tested and the selected line according to the calculation result, as well as the value of the crosstalk if the crosstalk exists.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for TDR (time domain reflection) test of a transmission line. In the method, first, a test signal meeting the test requirement of self-correlation and mutual-correlation is determined and transmitted in the transmission line, in which the test signal may be a band-limited random signal, a frequency agility signal, or a regular frequency modulation signal. Then, a TDR test is performed according to the test signal transmitted in the transmission line. The SELT (Single-End Line Test) apparatus configured in accordance with the TDR test solution in the present invention has a good adaptability to environment, a high test accuracy, and an excellent capability of noise resistance. The method of the present invention is very useful for TDR test of large-scaled DSLAM (DSL Access Multiplexer) equipments.
