    Abstract: Method and apparatus for storing and retrieving user data from magnetic recording tracks in a data storage device. In some embodiments, a rotatable data recording medium has a circumferentially extending data track formed from spaced apart embedded servo wedges that extend radially across a recording surface of the medium to define intervening data wedges between each adjacent pair of the servo wedges. Each data wedge along the data track has only a single timing field at a beginning portion of the data wedge immediately adjacent a first servo wedge, followed by a plurality of data sectors that extend across the data wedge to an end portion of the data wedge immediately adjacent a second servo wedge. No inter-sector gaps are provided between the respective data sectors and no additional timing fields are provided between the first and second servo wedges.

    Abstract: A disk array flushing method and a disk array flushing apparatus. The method includes acquiring a sequence, which is according to physical addresses of logical units, of the logical units in a same redundant array of independent disks (RAID) group in a disk array, and sequentially flushing, according to the sequence of the logical units, concurrent flushing input-outputs (IOs) of the RAID group to the logical units in the RAID group. According to the disk array flushing method and the disk array flushing apparatus, by uniformly scheduling logical units in a single RAID group and performing flushing according to a sequence of physical addresses, it takes less time for a magnetic arm to jump back and forth for addressing, and influences between RAID groups are prevented by means of independent control over the RAID groups, thereby improving flushing efficiency of a disk array, and increasing throughput of the disk array.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal panel fixing assembly and a display device are disclosed. The assembly includes a frame structure having a rectangular shape and multiple position-limiting blocks. The frame structure is used for supporting a liquid crystal panel. Two adjacent edges of the frame structure respectively provide with multiple fixing portions having different distances relative to an inner side surface of the frame structure. The multiple position-limiting blocks are selectively fixed at a group of the fixing portions in order to form a placement region for different display panels. Using the frame structure to support the liquid crystal panel, and through adjusting locations of the position-limiting blocks in order to fix liquid crystal panels having different sizes, the cost for developing different backlight modules for different liquid crystal panels is reduced, and the compatibility of a backlight module is increased.

The processor may determine whether the read error is caused by shingled overwriting by determining read signal quality of one or more sectors preceding the read error, such as based on a bit error count or bit error ratio (BER), and comparing the read signal quality to a threshold value. The processor may determine that the read error is caused by shingled overwriting when the read signal quality value is lower than the threshold.

The LLC resonant converter comprises: a half-bridge or full-bridge chopper having a driving circuit, an inductance-capacitance series resonant network coupled to the chopper, an isolation transformer coupled to the resonant network, and a rectification and filtering circuit coupled to the isolation transformer; a feedforward controller coupled to generate a feedforward signal based on an input voltage; and a controlled oscillator coupled to receive the feedforward signal from the feedforward controller and to control an operating frequency of the chopper via the driving circuit based on the feedforward signal. Thus, a feedforward correction is provided for the LLC resonant converter, so that ripples in a DC output voltage of the LLC resonant converter are reduced.
