    Abstract: Certain embodiments involve a method for generating a search result. The method includes processing devices performing operations including receiving a query having a text input by a joint embedding model trained to generate an image result. Training the joint embedding model includes accessing a set of images and textual information. Training further includes encoding the images into image feature vectors based on spatial features. Further, training includes encoding the textual information into textual feature vectors based on semantic information. Training further includes generating a set of image-text pairs based on matches between image feature vectors and textual feature vectors. Further, training includes generating a visual grounding dataset based on spatial information. Training further includes generating a set of visual-semantic joint embeddings by grounding the image-text pairs with the visual grounding dataset.

    Abstract: An electrocardiogram (ECG) sensor has a flexible thin ring-shaped substrate configured to be worn about a patient's finger. The substrate has an inner surface and an outer surface opposite the inner surface. A first ECG electrode is positioned at the outer surface of said substrate and a second ECG electrode is positioned at the inner (or outer) surface of the said substrate in contact with the finger (or the adjacent finger if the electrode is on the outer surface), whereby the two ECG electrodes receives a single-lead. ECG signal when the first electrode is touched to the patient's body. Touching different locations on the body or wearing multiple rings can provide multi-lead ECG measurements. The ring shape can be converted to a wearable patch for continuous ECG measurements.

    Abstract: A preparation method for an iron-based alloy powder EBSD test sample includes the following steps: surface electrolytic activation of an iron-based powder; ultrasonically cleaning the powder, and drying the powder to obtain a surface activated powder; adding the surface activated powder to a chemical embedding solution for ultrasonic dispersion; after the ultrasonic dispersion, performing a plating process; then heating to 80-92° C. for chemical reaction to prepare an iron-based alloy bulk which coated with nickel. The plating process is as follows: still standing, stirring, and repeating the still standing is taken as a cycle, and at least one cycle is performed to complete the plating process. Then grinding and electropolishing are done to the obtained iron-based alloy bulk coated with nickel to obtain the iron-based alloy powder EBSD test sample.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides an electrostatic self-powered strain grid sensor configured to measure strain of a component to be measured. The electrostatic self-powered strain grid sensor includes a slide groove and a slide sheet. The slide groove is fixed to a fixing end and a sensor array is arranged at an inside bottom of the slide groove. The slide sheet is fixedly connected with the component to be measured and a lower end part of the slide sheet is in contact with the inside bottom of the slide groove. A corresponding electric signal is output when the slide sheet sweeps over the sensor array. Based on the number and magnitude of the output current of a sensor unit of the sensor array indicated by the signal, the number of segments swept over by the slide sheet and a distance swept over the sensor units in a single sensor array by the slide sheet is obtained, thereby acquiring a structural strain.

    Abstract: An improved electric circuit structure for short circuit protection is applicable to examining a device under test, comprising a circuit breaking element, a thermistor, a filtering and rectifying module and a capacitor. A first end of the circuit breaking element is electrically connected to a power source. A first end of the thermistor is electrically connected to a ground. The filtering and rectifying module is connected between the second end of the circuit breaking element and the second end of the thermistor. The capacitor is connected to the filtering and rectifying module and in parallel with the device under test. The circuit breaking element disclosed in the present invention is a multi-protector fuse and forms an open circuit when the device under test forms a short circuit. Meanwhile, the multi-protector fuse is able to withstand voltage between its first and second end without generating any physical damage.

The projection device used in the present disclosure enables projection of multiple laser stripes, thereby increasing measurement precision and speed.

    Abstract: A process for polishing the end face of a gigabit plastic optical fiber (GbPOF) to produce a mirror smooth surface without any defect. Smooth GbPOF end faces reduce the optical coupling loss when two plastic optical fibers are connected. The polishing process can be used to produce GbPOF end faces which are free of defects such as scratches. The polishing process involves the use of successive abrasive films having decreasing surface roughness to abrade the end of a GbPOF. More specifically, each subsequently applied abrasive film has a mean particle size which is less than the mean particle size of the previously applied abrasive film.
