  • Publication number: 20190334833
Abstract: Automated devices send messages of a first batch sequence individually to a target queue of a receiving node of a cluster of server nodes, the messages having a different sequence number indicative of their relative positions within the batch sequence, and each is associated with a first logic unit of work identifier. In response to determining that a message counter meets a threshold, a force commit packet is generated to include the sequence number of the last batch message sent to the target queue. If the force commit packet sequence number is not the last position number within the batch sequence, a second logic unit of work identifier is associated with a subset sequence of the batch of messages having sequence numbers spanning from the first number to the force commit packet sequence number, and the subset sequence messages are committed to the receiving node target queue.

  • Publication number: 20190331750
Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided for ghost artifact reduction in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). In one embodiment, a method for an MRI system comprises acquiring a non-phase-encoded reference dataset, calculating phase corrections for spatial orders higher than first order from the non-phase-encoded reference dataset, acquiring a phase-encoded k-space dataset, correcting the phase-encoded k-space dataset with the phase corrections, and reconstructing an image from the corrected phase-encoded k-space dataset. In this way, ghost artifacts caused by phase errors during EPI may be substantially reduced, thereby improving image quality especially when imaging with a large field of view.

  • Patent number: 10461950
Abstract: A system prevents user-activity events from triggering transmission of duplicative notifications to multiple applications. The system may receive subscriptions for notifications from multiple applications installed on a single client device. Trigger criteria for the applications' subscriptions overlap such that a “single” user-activity event may satisfy trigger criteria for multiple subscriptions. The system receives event data that indicates when a user-activity event has satisfied trigger criteria for the multiple subscriptions associated with the client device. Rather than indiscriminately transmitting duplicative notifications, the system selects individual “satisfied” subscriptions to fulfill. Thus, when subscriptions are satisfied for multiple different applications on a single client device, the system may deploy a subscription prioritization engine to select a single one of the multiple different applications to transmit a notification to.

  • Patent number: 10462822
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a random access method and an apparatus. According to the random access method disclosed in the embodiments, first downlink assignment information is obtained in a manner of a mapping relationship between first downlink assignment information and a preamble, where the first downlink assignment information is downlink assignment information used by a random access response message, and scheduling signaling of the random access response message does not need to be retransmitted by using the PDCCH channel, thereby resolving problems of a channel resource waste and an access delay in an existing random access method. The problems are caused because the PDCCH channel is used to retransmit the scheduling signaling of the random access response message.

  • Publication number: 20190327218
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a method for reducing a computational burden of a blockchain provider. A data processing computer may facilitate an exchange of a data transfer message between respective applications of a first and second device. The data processing computer may maintain an electronic record according to the exchange. A net transfer value may be determined for the record and data comprising the net transfer value may be transmitted to a blockchain provider. Receipt of the data by the blockchain provider may cause the blockchain provider to update a ledger with the net transfer value.
