    Abstract: A method includes receiving a plurality of training samples spanning multiple different domains. Each corresponding training sample includes audio data characterizing an utterance paired with a corresponding transcription of the utterance. The method also includes re-labeling each corresponding training sample of the plurality of training samples by annotating the corresponding transcription of the utterance with one or more speaker tags. Each speaker tag indicates a respective segment of the transcription for speech that was spoken by a particular type of speaker. The method also includes training a multi-domain speech recognition model on the re-labeled training samples to teach the multi-domain speech recognition model to learn to share parameters for recognizing speech across each of the different multiple different domains.

An access token can be generated on a second user device by combining and encrypting, with format preservation, a primary access identifier, variable value, and salt. The resulting value can be provided to a first user device that subsequently can provide the access token to an access device as a part of an interaction. The access device can generate an authorization request message that includes the access token and transmit the authorization request message to a remote server computer for processing. The remote server computer can process the access token to determine the primary access identifier despite not being involved in the generation of the access token, providing an improvement over conventional tokenization methods.

    Abstract: Implementations relate to an automated assistant that can bypass invocation phrase detection when an estimation of device-to-device distance satisfies a distance threshold. The estimation of distance can be performed for a set of devices, such as a computerized watch and a cellular phone, and/or any other combination of devices. The devices can communicate ultrasonic signals between each other, and the estimated distance can be determined based on when the ultrasonic signals are sent and/or received by each respective device. When an estimated distance satisfies the distance threshold, the automated assistant can operate as if the user is holding onto their cellular phone while wearing their computerized watch. This scenario can indicate that the user may be intending to hold their device to interact with the automated assistant and, based on this indication, the automated assistant can temporarily bypass invocation phrase detection (e.g., invoke the automated assistant).

    Abstract: A method for three-dimensional (3D) characterization of a molybdenum disulfide sample based on machine learning (ML) includes: subjecting the molybdenum disulfide sample to optical imaging and atomic force microscopy (AFM) characterization; constructing and training a model through a random forest (RF) algorithm based on a dataset of a correspondence between a color feature of an optical image and AFM height data of the molybdenum disulfide sample; and inputting a color feature value of the optical image of the molybdenum disulfide sample into the model to acquire height data of the molybdenum disulfide sample, and filtering to remove a local noise and a local abnormal point, so as to acquire a final 3D characterization image. The present disclosure has high characterization accuracy and is helpful for scientific researchers to quickly analyze the thickness of a molybdenum disulfide sample through optical imaging without AFM or other characterization instrumentation.
