  • Publication number: 20230262141
Abstract: The concept of a service layer message template is introduced, which may be a request template or a response template. Message templates may be created and stored at the service layer. Each message template may contain a set of request or response parameters and their values. Once in place, an application can send a request to the service layer that does not include the request parameters contained in the message template (i.e. request template); instead, a message template identifier may be sent. Since request parameters are included in the message template and stored at the service layer, communication overhead between the service layer and the application (or another service layer) may be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20230260943
Abstract: Semiconductor die assemblies with flexible interconnects, and associated methods and systems are disclosed. The semiconductor die assembly includes a package substrate and a semiconductor die attached to the package substrate through the flexible interconnects. The flexible interconnects include one or more rigid sections and one or more flexible sections, each of which is disposed next to the rigid sections. The flexible sections may include malleable materials with relatively low melting temperatures (e.g., having relatively low modulus at elevated temperatures) such that the flexible interconnects can have reduced flexural stiffness during the assembly process. The malleable materials of the flexible interconnects, through plastic deformation in response to stress generated during the assembly process, may facilitate portions of the flexible interconnects to shift so as to reduce transfer of the stress to other parts of the semiconductor die assembly—e.g., circuitry of the semiconductor die.

  • Patent number: 11727419
Abstract: Real-time busyness information is for a public place is computed in a privacy-sensitive way, and provided for display in relation to historical busyness information. An aggregate amount of real-time location information available for a particular public place is measured (410), and used to determine (420) whether the public place is privacy-qualified. If the public place is privacy-qualified, real-time busyness information is computed (440) for the public place based on the real-time location information. Further, it is determined (450) whether the computed real-time busyness information is accuracy-qualified, based on a comparison of the real-time busyness information to historical busyness information. If both qualifications are met, the real-time busyness information is output (470) for display or to another application.

  • Patent number: 11727012
Abstract: A modular and distributed architecture for data stream processing and analysis is described to incorporate data stream analytics capabilities, called Data Stream Analytics Service (DSAS) in the IoT/M2M service layer. Each service layer node hosting DSAS can be split into two independent modules, Stream Forwarder and Stream Analytics Engine. Stream Forwarder is a light weight processing modules that can be responsible for data preprocessing and routing. Stream Analytics Engine is responsible for performing actual analytics on the data stream. Separating the two functionalities enables the service layer nodes to efficiently distribute stream analytics tasks across multiple nodes.

  • Publication number: 20230244943
Abstract: Embodiments provide a framework combining fast and slow learning Networks (referred to as “FSNet”) to train deep neural forecasters on the fly for online time-series fore-casting. FSNet is built on a deep neural network backbone (slow learner) with two complementary components to facilitate fast adaptation to both new and recurrent concepts. To this end, FSNet employs a per-layer adapter to monitor each layer's contribution to the forecasting loss via its partial derivative. The adapter transforms each layer's weight and feature at each step based on its recent gradient, allowing a finegrain per-layer fast adaptation to optimize the current loss. In addition, FSNet employs a second and complementary associative memory component to store important, recurring patterns observed during training. The adapter interacts with the memory to store, update, and retrieve the previous transformations, facilitating fast learning of such patterns.
