  • Publication number: 20230205999
Abstract: Techniques are provided for named entity recognition using a gazetteer incorporated with a neural network. An utterance is received from a user. The utterance is input into a neural network comprising model parameters learned for named entity recognition. The neural network generates a first representation of one or more named entities based on the utterance. A gazetteer is searched based on the input utterance to generate a second representation of one or more named entities identified in the utterance. The first named entity representation is combined with the second named entity representation to generate a combined named entity representation. The combined named entity representation is output for facilitating a response to the user.

  • Publication number: 20230197132
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to spin-orbit torque (SOT) magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) devices comprising a doped bismuth antimony (BiSbE) layer having a (012) orientation. The devices may include magnetic write heads, read heads, or MRAM devices. The dopant in the BiSbE layer enhances the (012) orientation. The BiSbE layer may be formed on a texturing layer to ensure the (012) orientation, and a migration barrier may be formed over the BiSbE layer to ensure the antimony does not migrate through the structure and contaminate other layers. A buffer layer and interlayer may also be present. The buffer layer and the interlayer may each independently be a single layer of material or a multilayer of material. The buffer layer and the interlayer inhibit antimony (Sb) migration within the doped BiSbE layer and enhance uniformity of the doped BiSbE layer while further promoting the (012) orientation of the doped BiSbE layer.

  • Patent number: 11681532
Abstract: In a very long instruction word (VLIW) central processing unit instructions are grouped into execute packets that execute in parallel. A constant may be specified or extended by bits in a constant extension instruction in the same execute packet. If an instruction includes an indication of constant extension, the decoder employs bits of a constant extension instruction to extend the constant of an immediate field. Two or more constant extension slots are permitted in each execute packet, each extending constants for a different predetermined subset of functional unit instructions. In an alternative embodiment, more than one functional unit may have constants extended from the same constant extension instruction employing the same extended bits. A long extended constant may be formed using the extension bits of two constant extension instructions.

  • Patent number: 11680937
Abstract: A device for detecting and characterizing anomalies in a water continuum is provided. The device is configured to receive measurements of physical quantities on the basis of sensors situated in the water continuum. The measurements are thereafter transformed, and a detection of anomalies is performed by a detector of anomalies which is trained with transformed values arising from the same sensors. In parallel with the detection, predefined rules make it possible to characterize a possible anomaly. Thus, an anomaly detection can be optimized for a water continuum in particular, whilst characterization with predefined rules allows the device to be operational without each anomaly having needed to be detected in this water continuum in particular.

  • Patent number: 11683353
Abstract: IoT service layer capabilities may be employed to automate and simplify the service enrollment process for IoT service subscribers/enrollees. These capabilities enable virtualization of a service subscriber and the physical IoT devices, applications, data and authorized users of the subscriber into a software profile that is representative of the subscriber. Once virtualized, a service subscriber may then delegate the complexities and burden of service enrollment to an automated IoT service enrollment software function.
