  • Patent number: 11240212
Abstract: Existing approaches to security within network, for instance oneM2M networks, are limited. For example, content might only be protected while the content is in transit between entities that trust each other. Here, the integrity and the confidentiality of content in an M2M network are protected. Such content may be “at rest,” such that the content is stored at a hosting node. Only authorized entities may store and retrieve the data that is stored at the hosting node, and the data may be protected from a confidentiality perspective and an integrity perspective.

  • Publication number: 20220030315
Abstract: An index file for an on-demand media stream (such as video-on-demand) is analyzed to determine one or more content insertion points, also referred to as cue points. The streaming platform modifies the index file such that the streaming platform can select the content to insert later on, preferably making that selection after the index file has been served and preferably a short time before the cue point in the stream. Put another way, the decision as to which content to insert at such points is not predetermined at the time of serving the index file. In this way, content insertions decisions can be made midstream.

  • Publication number: 20220013138
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to spin-orbital torque (SOT) differential reader designs. The SOT differential reader is a multi-terminal device comprising a first seed layer, a first spin hall effect (SHE) layer, a first interlayer, a first free layer, a gap layer, a second seed layer, a second SHE layer, a second free layer, and a second interlayer. The gap layer is disposed between the first SHE layer and the second SHE layer. The materials and dimensions used for the first and second seed layers, the first and second interlayers, and the first and second SHE layers affect the resulting spin hall voltage converted from spin current injected from the first free layer and the second free layer, as well as the ability to tune the first and second SHE layers. Moreover, the SOT differential reader improves reader resolution without decreasing the shield-to-shield spacing (i.e., read-gap).
