Abstract: A system and method are provided for integrating data used in computing financial wellbeing scores. The system includes at least one computing device configured to provide a computing platform, the computing platform providing: at least one client module providing an interface for communicating with client devices; an advisor module providing an interface for communicating with advisor devices; a forecast module; an optimizer module configured to analyze datasets from multiple sources and to generate recommendations to optimize strategies to achieve financial outcomes; and a database storing financial planning data. The system also includes an integration layer interposed between the computing platform and a book of record to enable client data in the book of record to be accessed; and a financial planning software module independent of the computing platform, configured to generate financial plan data integrated by the computing platform in financial wellbeing scores and recommendations.

Abstract: Systems and methods for use in carrying out rail track corrections. A projector device is positioned on a vehicle deployed ahead of a rail maintenance vehicle and includes a Fresnel lens and a plurality of light emitting diodes arranged to provide a light beam that provides a uniform “spot.” The projector device modulates the light beam in such a manner that a pair of receiver receivers disposed on the rail maintenance vehicle can detect the light source and the light intensity and frequency of wavelength of light received into each receiver of a receiver pair is substantially equal. Recorded values may be used to triangulate the geometry of the section of track being worked, while a computer compares the previous section of track already corrected to the current section and makes calculations for desired corrections to be made at work heads on the rail maintenance vehicle.

Abstract: A method for measuring an antler rack having a plurality of beams includes the steps of providing a flexible measuring tape that includes a front surface having graduated indicia printed thereon and a rear surface having an adhesive layer. A free end of the measuring tape is positioned at the tip of a selected beam of the antler rack and the tape extended to a terminal point/end of the tape. The measuring tape is severed at the terminal point so as to determine a length of the selected beam. Then, the severed portion is adhered to the selected beam to indicate that the selected beam has been measured. These steps are repeated until all beams have been measured and respective severed portions have been adhered to the antler rack. The adhered portions are then viewed and the highest numerical graduation indicates the score of the antler.

Abstract: A location-based marketing method includes steps of providing at least one first computing device including at least one memory operatively coupled to at least one processor, the at least one memory storing at least a listing of participating vendor geographical locations. At least one second computing device is in computing communication with the at least one first computing device. The method further includes steps of displaying to a user on a display screen of the second computing device a rotatable three-dimensional navigational interface including a plurality of faces, and by a geolocator module of the second computing device, providing to the at least one first computing device a geographical location of the user. The user geographical location is compared to the stored listing of participating vendor geographical locations. On determining a match, the first computing device initiates a user check-in procedure specific to the matching participating vendor.

The spring stem-wedge-rod structure has a stem extending through a coil spring, and a spring retainer is fixed both to the stem and to the inner tube. Twisting of the inner tube causes the wedge portion to effect the expansion joint structure to be fixed in the outer tube, and the coil spring provides the tension to mount the tension rod between a pair of opposing wall surfaces.

Abstract: Neuronal excitation and inhibition of the brain is tracked in the hippocampal CA1 network during a latent period, wherein biomarkers are observed which include a sustained increase in the firing rate of the excitatory postsynaptic field activity, paired with a subsequent decrease in the firing rate of the inhibitory postsynaptic field activity; the mean amplitude profiles of both fEPSP and fEPSP field potential activity during the latent period have characteristic shapes; both excitatory and inhibitory CA1 field activity firing rates are observed to follow a circadian rhythm that drifts during epileptogenesis; the circadian rhythms described are in-phase in controls and anti-phase during epileptogenesis; and the fEPSP rate drifts from a circadian rhythm to a greater extent than the fEPSP rate. An additional biomarker is a change in a circadian rhythm of core body temperature. Therapeutic measures can include thermal, chemical, or electrical modulation, in an open or closed loop process.
