  • Patent number: 6381896
Abstract: A waterfowl decoy that can assembled from a flat, planar sheet to a 3-dimensional decoy that is capable of stacking while assembled. Decoy comprises a sheet and an anchor. The sheet has an outer periphery shaped to resemble a waterfowl when the sheet is assembled in a 3-dimensional state, with a head, body and shoulder. The sheet substantially symmetrical about a longitudinal axis, except for a bifurcated head. The head has a pair of members that are specifically asymmetrical to appear more realistic. The sheet also has a pair of shoulder segments that are aligned by flexing the sheet along the longitudinal axis and securing using an anchor. A plurality of decoys may be stacked, while in a fully assembled state and with anchors intact. While stacked, the anchors may be moved to a position that locks the stack so that individual decoys cannot be removed until the anchors are moved to a position that releases the stack.

  • Patent number: 6367969
Abstract: In an infrared (IR) transient thermography system a sequence of image frames is acquired from an IR sensitive focal-plane array camera. Each sequentially acquired image frame is made up of an array of pixels and has assigned a frame number that corresponds to elapsed time. A method of analyzing thermal imaging data-frames is presented wherein a synthetically generated temperature-time reference curve is used to determine pixel contrast-versus-time data.

  • Patent number: 6367968
Abstract: In an infrared (IR) transient thermography system a sequence of image frames is acquired from an IR sensitive focal-plane array camera. Each sequentially acquired image frame is made up of an array of pixels and has assigned a frame-number that corresponds to elapsed time. Temperature-versus-time (T-t) data corresponding to each pixel is developed from stacks of sequential image-frames. A method of analyzing the stacks of thermal data image-frames is presented wherein either the Real or the Imaginary component portions of a Fast-Fourier Transform of a normalized T-t data curve from each pixel is used to determine the thickness of an object and produce a color-keyed or gray-scale coded thickness map.

  • Publication number: 20020000442
Abstract: A nestable, dual-ovenable cooking pan (10) made of thin, thermoformed plastic sheet material has an interlocking beam and skin structure including a peripheral frame (24) in its floor (12) and vertical horizontal ribs (28, 30) in its walls (14, 16). This structure cooperates with integral handles (32) in a top flange (20) to enhance strength and rigidity. The handles have uniform or non-uniform undulations (34, 36) which, in addition to providing rigidity, increase the effective thickness of the handles and allow the pan to be comfortably picked up and carried when hot. The handles cool relatively quickly. The undulations give the handles a purchase and feel similar to those of thicker handles of ceramic permanent cookware. The plastic sheet material is preferably nucleated CPET.
