  • Patent number: 11838048
Abstract: A regen node is described. The regen node includes a coherent receiver, a control module and a coherent transmitter. The coherent receiver has circuitry to convert a first optical signal received from an upstream node in an optical layer of an optical network to a first digital data stream in a digital layer having a first FEC frame and a data traffic. The control module extracts a first fault signal from the first FEC frame; generates a second fault signal based at least in part on the first fault signal; and encodes the second fault signal within a second FEC frame with the data traffic into a second digital data stream on the digital layer. The coherent transmitter has circuitry to convert the second digital data stream into a second optical signal on the optical layer and to transmit the second optical signal to a downstream node.

  • Patent number: 11818017
Abstract: Examples described herein include systems and methods for managing slices in a Telco network by using a graphical user interface (“GUI”) with augmented reality (“AR”). A user device can scan a code that is related to physical hardware in a datacenter. Based on the code, the GUI can display at least one virtual component that resides on that hardware. The user can move the virtual component from one slice to another, such as by dragging it to a displayed slice region. Similarly, the user can drag the virtual component to new physical hardware. This can cause an AR engine to contact an orchestrator to route traffic to the virtual component according to the new slice identifier and new hardware. The GUI can also provide a datacenter map to related physical or virtual components, allowing the user to locate and inspect other hardware relied on by a slice.

Abstract: Techniques are described herein that are capable of synthesizing a computer program to include idiomatic function(s) and semantically-meaningful variable(s) using programming by example. For instance, an intent of a user to synthesize a computer program to include functionality configured to generate sample output(s) from respective input(s) is determined based at least in part on receipt of the sample input(s) and the respective sample output(s) from the user. Based at least in part on the determined intent, the computer program is synthesized to include the idiomatic function(s) by configuring the idiomatic function(s) to have the target functionality and to conform to a convention of the target domain-specific language associated with a textual representation of the computer program to be displayed to the user. Non-semantically-meaningful variable(s) included among the idiomatic function(s) are replaced with the respective semantically-meaningful variable(s).
