Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media, and apparatuses are disclosed for storing and utilizing state information for service providers. In one aspect of the invention, the methods, processes, or apparatus may include one or more of the following steps: 1) storing state information on a vault; 2) requesting state information on the vault from a receiving party and a device and providing identification to the vault; 3) authenticating and certifying the request from the receiving party; 4) providing the state information to the receiving party; 5) using the state information on the device; and 6) returning the state information to the vault. An additional aspect of the invention provides a method and/or process for storing and utilizing web-based cookies on a cloud environment for service providers.

Abstract: In one aspect, a sprinkler is provided having a nozzle, a deflector that receives fluid flow from the nozzle, and a friction or viscous brake assembly that controls rotation of a deflector. The friction or viscous brake assembly is releasably connected to the frame in order to enhance serviceability of the sprinkler. In another aspect, a sprinkler is provided having a frame, a deflector rotatably connected to the frame, a nozzle, and a nozzle socket of the frame. The nozzle and nozzle socket have interlocking portions that releasably connect the nozzle to the frame. The nozzle may be easily removed for servicing. Further, the nozzle socket can be configured to receive a plurality of nozzles having different flow characteristics. A nozzle can be selected and utilized with the sprinkler according to the desired application for the sprinkler.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to methods and systems dynamic trust federation. In one aspect, a computer implemented method may include a security token that enables sign-on into a group applications based on applicable trust criteria. In one aspect, when a user interacts with one application in the group, the trust is elevated through the application internal authentication application program interface (API). The trust may be included in the security token to make available to other applications in the group. Applications can be in multiple groups with variable level of authentication based on location and other transactions variables.

Abstract: A system for managing an enterprise concept dictionary may include an electronic master dictionary and electronic local dictionaries. The master dictionary may include concept entries respectively associated with concept identifiers and with one or more concept definitions. The local dictionaries may include one or more of the concept identifiers of the master dictionary. A dictionary management module may be in signal communication with the master dictionary and the local dictionaries. The dictionary management module may be configured to query the master dictionary for a concept entry that corresponds to a concept associated with a modeling component. If a concept entry is found, the concept identifier may be provided. If a concept entry is not found, a new concept entry may be added to the master dictionary. A notification module may be in signal communication with the master dictionary and automatically provide notification when a concept entry is added or updated.

Abstract: A power circuit breaker unit has first and second arcing contact pieces. A contact gap is formed between the arcing contact pieces. A switch gas channel of the circuit breaker unit joins the contact gap to the surrounding area of the circuit breaker unit for removing a switch gas from the contact gap. Several barriers that increase a flow resistance are arranged successively, spaced from one another, in the switch gas channel. At least one of the barriers is arranged between a first pipe section, which is surrounded by a second pipe section, and the second pipe section.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, an apparatus may store: a hard token representing identification information of the device, a network token representing the status of a network, and a resource token representing information associated with a resource. The apparatus may further store secured copies of the hard token, network token, and resource token. The apparatus may receive a suspect token indicating a risk that at least one of the device, the network, and the resource has been tampered, and in response, determine to inspect at least one of the hard token, network token, and resource token. The apparatus may then compare the at least one of the hard token, network token, and resource token with its corresponding secured copy. If at least one of those tokens does not match its corresponding secured copy, the apparatus may communicate a revalidation token indicating at least one token has been tampered.

Abstract: A method of scrolling a data set stored in a memory across a screen is described. The method comprises presenting a user interface widget on the screen. The user interface widget comprises one or more linear scroll bars and a rotation-sensitive scroll area. The method further comprises receiving one or more user inputs to the user interface widget, determining at least a scroll speed, a scroll direction and a scroll resolution from the one or more user inputs to obtain a scroll control signal, and scrolling the data set across the screen in accordance with the scroll control signal. A computer program product comprising instructions for causing a processor system to perform a method of scrolling a data set stored in a memory across a screen is described. A user interface widget is described. A device comprising a processor arranged to perform such method is described.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, an apparatus may store a plurality of tokens. The plurality of tokens may include a plurality of risk tokens. Each risk token may represent a risk rating. The risk rating may be a numerical value indicating a risk associated with granting a particular user access to a particular resource. The apparatus may identify a set of related risk tokens in the plurality of risk tokens, and generate a composite risk token that represents an arithmetic combination of the risk ratings represented by the set of related risk tokens. The apparatus may then use the composite risk token to facilitate the making of an access decision.

Abstract: A circuit breaker includes a first contact and a second contact. An electric arc zone is disposed between the contacts. A feed channel opens into the electric arc zone, connecting the electric arc zone to a hot gas reservoir volume. The hot gas reservoir volume, in turn, is connected to a compression volume. An outflow opening is disposed in a wall of the compression volume. The outflow opening is permanently open, at least in a contacting state of the contacts.

The hollow vessel arrangement includes an external outlet opening for the switching-gas duct.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, an apparatus may store a plurality of tokens indicating that a user is attempting to access a resource. The apparatus may determine an authorization level for the user based at least in part upon the plurality of tokens. The authorization level may indicate whether the user is authorized to access the resource. The apparatus may then determine a related resource that shares a relationship with the resource, and determine that the authorization level indicates that the user is authorized to access the related resource. The apparatus may then communicate a decision token indicating that the user is authorized to access the resource and the related resource.

Abstract: A switchgear includes an interrupter unit. The interrupter unit is provided with first and second switching contact pieces that are movable relative to one another. A switching-gas duct that runs through the interrupter unit originates at an arc gap in which an electric arc can burn. The duct connects the arc gap to the surroundings of the interrupter unit. At least some sections of the switching-gas duct are delimited by mutually encompassing elements similar to an annular duct. One of the elements is a first member which is braced at the end similar to a pipe joint and which has a free end that projects in the direction of the arc gap.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, an apparatus may monitor a session that facilitates the processing of a transaction. The transaction may represent an action taken against a resource during the session. The apparatus may determine that the transaction qualifies for additional monitoring, and in response, generate a tag. The tag may be unique to the transaction. The apparatus may then associate the tag with the transaction to facilitate tracing of the transaction. The apparatus may then trace the transaction during the processing of the transaction by following the tag, and communicate a message to transfer the transaction to an isolated processing unit. The isolated processing unit processes the transaction in isolation.

Abstract: A system for managing dictionaries, such as an application dictionary and a domain dictionary, and for adding entries to a data log is described herein. The system may, in response to a determination that an event occurs at an application, determine that the application uses a first concept name from the application dictionary to describe the event. An entry for the event may be added to a data log for the application. The entry may also include the first concept name from the application dictionary. A mapping of the first concept name from the application dictionary to a second concept name from the domain dictionary may be generated. In some aspects, the data log may be sent to a data log analysis system capable of accessing the domain dictionary.

Abstract: A circuit breaker unit has first and second arcing contact pieces. A breaker gap is formed between the two arcing contact pieces. A switching gas channel leads to the breaker gap and guides the switching gas to a switching gas outlet opening of the circuit breaker unit. The switching gas channel is formed with first and second pipe sections that overlap each other at least in sections and have discharge openings in their cover surfaces. Continuous discharge openings in the first and in the second pipe sections are axially offset in relation to each other.
