  • Publication number: 20200060485
Abstract: A floor cleaner including a recovery tank in fluid communication with a vacuum source and a suction inlet. The recovery tank is configured to store cleaning fluid drawn through the suction inlet from a surface by the vacuum source. The recovery tank includes a tank body and a strainer. The tank body has a lower end wall and a sidewall that extends upwardly from the lower end wall and an inlet duct that extends upwardly from the lower end wall. The strainer is positioned inside the tank body, the strainer movable from a lowermost position to a removed position. The strainer includes a perforated body and an aperture through the body, the inlet duct extends through the aperture of the strainer, and the strainer engages an outer surface of the inlet duct retaining the strainer onto the inlet duct.

  • Publication number: 20190365182
Abstract: A surface cleaning apparatus including, a fluid storage container; an outlet for directing fluid from the fluid storage container onto a surface to be cleaned; and a valve configured to regulate the flow of fluid from the fluid storage container to the outlet and including: a body; and a member being moveable relative to the body between a first position and a second position and defining a flow path extending through a surface thereof; wherein the flow of fluid through the valve flows at a first rate when the member is in the first position and at a second rate and along the flow path when the member is in the second position, the second rate of flow being lower than the first rate of flow.

  • Publication number: 20170127900
Abstract: An extractor including a housing, a suction source disposed within the housing, and a suction nozzle in communication with the suction source and movable relative to the housing. The extractor also includes a recovery tank carried by the housing, and the suction source is in communication with the recovery tank for drawing fluid through the suction nozzle and storing the drawn fluid in the recovery tank. A cleaning chamber disposed on the housing receives a portion of the suction nozzle, and the cleaning chamber is configured to selectively receive a fluid along a fluid flow path in communication with the cleaning chamber.
