The device has a capsule positioned at the tip of the spear gun, the capsule includes a light source preferably a laser diode and the battery powered, a magnetic switch in the handle (close to the spear gun trigger) to control the laser device, a cable to connect the capsule to the magnetic switch, and an optional floating bar located inside the spear gun barrel to balance the spear gun's weight in the water.
