    Abstract: In at least one embodiment, a system is provided. The system includes a plurality of power phases, a first plurality of switches, a capacitive network, and at least one transformer. The plurality of power phases receives an alternating current input signal having a plurality of phases from a mains supply, each power phase including a pair of switches and receiving a corresponding phase of the AC input signal to generate a first voltage signal. The first plurality of switches generates a second voltage signal based at least on a capacitive voltage and the first voltage signal. The capacitive network provides the capacitance voltage to the first plurality of switches. The at least one transformer includes a center tap and provides a third voltage to a second plurality of switches based at least on the second voltage. The center tap is coupled to the mains supply through a neutral line input.

Each of said legs includes a first portion, attached to said body so that is horizontally tiltable between a first folded position wherein said first portion is folded to said body, and a first extended position wherein said first portion is tilted away laterally from said body. The first modular converter includes a first plurality of switching devices to generate a first voltage signal in response to a filtered input signal. A second plurality of switching devices generate a second voltage signal. The filter is operably coupled to the first modular converter and provides the filtered input signal to the first modular converter in response to a first input signal from a mains supply. The filtered input signal includes a detectable current portion and an undetected current portion. The controller is programmed to determine the undetected current portion based at least on a capacitance of the filter and generate a first control variable to compensate for the undetected current portion.

The voltage converter also includes a boost pre-stage having a boosting circuit and a capacitor, wherein the boost pre-stage receives a DC voltage from a battery and outputs a boosted DC voltage to the converter stage as the first voltage, wherein the boosted DC voltage is greater than the DC voltage from the battery. The boosted DC voltage of the boost pre-stage output to the converter stage provides fault resistant operation of the converter stage in the event of one or more fluctuations in an operating range of the DC voltage from the battery.

    Abstract: A DC/DC converter applies a dual active bridge (DAB) topology to convert an input DC voltage into an output DC voltage. The DC/DC converter includes a transformer, a primary stage, and a secondary stage. The primary stage includes an inductor, a first H-bridge arm having first and second power switches connected at a first node therebetween, and a second H-bridge arm having first and second capacitors connected at a second node therebetween. The inductor is connected between the first node and a terminal of an input port of the primary stage.
