A processor can determine a plurality of metrics for each of a plurality of machines configured to connect client devices with hosted sessions. The processor can receive, from a client device, a request to establish a connection with one of the plurality of machines to access a hosted session. The processor can determine a score for each of the plurality of machines based at least on the plurality of metrics for each of the plurality of machines. The processor can select a machine from the plurality of machines as a function of the score and a resource cost of the machine. The processor can cause the client device to connect to the selected machine for the hosted session.

One method involves a platform service obtaining telemetry data from a gateway device, assigning a first subset of the telemetry data having first temporal characteristics to a first processing pipeline, and assigning a second subset of the telemetry data having second temporal characteristics to a second processing pipeline based at least in part on metadata associated with the telemetry data. The first processing pipeline is configurable to write the first subset of the telemetry data to a data storage element concurrent to the second processing pipeline writing the second subset of the telemetry data to the data storage element. The first and second subsets of the telemetry data are mutually exclusive, and the first temporal characteristics and the second temporal characteristics are different.

A method of performing gas separation includes absorbing a target gas from an input stream in a non-sprayable capture liquid, and releasing the target gas in an output gas stream by spraying the non-sprayable capture liquid into a heated volume using a spray generator.

    Abstract: A method of fabrication of a porous polymer aerogel amine material includes preparing a solution comprising at least a solvent, amine monomers having protecting groups, one or more crosslinkers, and one or more radical initiators, heating the solution to promote polymerization and to produce a polymerized material, performing solvent exchange with the polymerized material, causing a deprotection reaction in the polymerized material to remove the protecting groups to produce a deprotected material, soaking and rinsing the deprotected material to remove excess reagents and any byproducts of the deprotection reaction, and drying the deprotecting material to produce the amine sorbent. A system to separate CO2 from other gases has a polymer porous aerogel sorbent having greater than 5 wt % of amine containing vinyl monomers integrated into a polymer backbone, and the amine containing vinyl monomers may have a molecular weight of less than 100 g/mol.
