  • Patent number: 9910809
Abstract: A supersequence is sent to another device to indicate a transition from a partial width link state to another active link state. The supersequence is to be sent over one or more lanes of a link and is to include at least a portion of a start of data sequence (SDS) to include a predefined sequence and a byte number value. The byte number value is to indicate a number of bytes measured from a preceding control interval.

  • Patent number: 9660408
Abstract: A method for producing electromagnetic radiation comprising: firing a first laser pulse and generating a plasma region, the first laser pulse penetrating at least partially into the plasma region to create a plasma density wake in the plasma region; providing a group of charged particles in the plasma region arranged so as to be accelerated in the plasma density wake of the first laser pulse; reflecting the first laser pulse after the first laser pulse has penetrated into the plasma region, to give a reflected laser pulse; and arranging the reflected laser pulse to interact with the group of charged particles to generate an electromagnetic radiation.

  • Publication number: 20160179740
Abstract: A signal is received, a boundary of which is to be sent in alignment with a sync counter value. A nominal latency of a link is determined based on the sync counter value. Additional latency is applied to the signal to increase the nominal latency to a target latency for the link.

  • Patent number: 9310881
Abstract: A data processing system includes components for providing a pleasant user experience. Those components may include a family interaction engine that provides a family channel. The family interaction engine may provide for creation of a user group. The family channel may present content of interest to multiple users in the user group. When a user is detected near the data processing system, the family interaction engine may automatically present content of interest to that user. When used for presenting media content, the data processing system may also cause supplemental data to automatically be presented, wherein the supplemental data is relevant to the media content and to a predetermined interest of the user. The data processing system may also provide a ranked list of applications for potential activation by the user. The applications may be ordered based on the current context. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 9160320
Abstract: Described herein are an apparatus, system, and method for compensating voltage swing and duty cycle of a signal on an input-output (I/O) pad of a processor by adjusting the voltage swing and duty cycle of the signal. The apparatus comprises a driver to transmit a signal on an I/O pad, the signal on the I/O pad having a voltage swing and a duty cycle; and an adjustment unit, coupled to the driver, to receive the signal from the I/O pad transmitted by the driver and to generate voltage swing and duty cycle control signals for adjusting the voltage swing and duty cycle of the signal on the I/O pad respectively. Described herein is also an analog-to-digital (A2D) converter for measuring and/or calibrating various signal attributes including current, voltage, and time.

  • Publication number: 20140092005
Abstract: Systems and methods may provide for an implementation of an augmented reality element. A logic architecture may be employed to coordinate the implementation of the augmented reality element based on an input and in response to when a user is to view the augmented reality element. The logic architecture may also be employed to perform an association between the input and the implementation of an augmented reality element, wherein the association is to be defined by the user. Additionally, the logic architecture may be employed to include a guide input to guide the implementation, for example a guide input to guide the conduct, of the augmented reality element.
