Patent number: 11517326Abstract: A handheld surgical instrument includes a motor that transmits rotational movement to a drill bit of the handheld surgical instrument. The drill bit extends through a depth measurement module with a depth measurement extension, and a cannula, which extends forward from the drill to measure bore depth. The depth measurement extension is moveably mounted to the drill so as to extend into the rotor bore of the motor. As the drill advances forward, the depth measurement extension remains static. As a result of the advancement of the drill, the rotor extends over the proximal end of the depth measurement extension. A controller is configured to determine a breakthrough time and a breakthrough displacement of the drill bit based on displacement data and derived signals. The controller is further configured to determine a proper length of a screw to be used in a fixation surgical procedure based on the displacement data.Type: GrantFiled: February 7, 2020Date of Patent: December 6, 2022Assignee: Stryker CorporationInventor: Rahul Sharma

Patent number: 11481906Abstract: Techniques for active learning-based data labeling are described. An active learning-based data labeling service enables a user to build and manage large, high accuracy datasets for use in various machine learning systems. Machine learning may be used to automate annotation and management of the datasets, increasing efficiency of labeling tasks and reducing the time required to perform labeling. Embodiments utilize active learning techniques to reduce the amount of a dataset that requires manual labeling. As subsets of the dataset are labeled, this label data is used to train a model which can then identify additional objects in the dataset without manual intervention. The process may continue iteratively until the model converges. This enables a dataset to be labeled without requiring each item in the data set to be individually and manually labeled by human labelers.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2019Date of Patent: October 25, 2022Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Hareesh Lakshmi Narayanan, Rahul Sharma, Arvind Jayasundar, Vikram Madan

Patent number: 11476857Abstract: Analog gain correction circuitry and analog switching clock edge timing correction circuitry can provide coarse correction of interleaving errors in radio-frequency digital-to-analog converters (RF DACs), such as may be used in 5G wireless base stations. The analog correction can be supplemented by digital circuitry configured to “pre-cancel” an interleaving image by adding to a digital DAC input signal a signal equal and opposite to an interleaving image created by the interleaving DAC, such that the interleaving image is effectively mitigated. Error correction control parameters can be periodically adjusted for changes in temperature by a controller coupled to an on-chip temperature sensor. A model useful for understanding the sources of error in interleaving DACs is also described.Type: GrantFiled: October 16, 2020Date of Patent: October 18, 2022Assignee: TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INCORPORATEDInventors: Rahul Sharma, Aswath Vs, Sriram Murali, Prasad Gandewar, Sandeep Kesrimal Oswal

Publication number: 20220263821Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for transitioning a supplicant from one virtual local area network (VLAN) to another using a change of authorization (COA) message. This may be accomplished by an authentication server notifying a network device that a host should be granted access to the network, wherein the authentication server authenticates the host using MAC based authentication. Based on this notification and the MAC address of the host, the network device assigns the host to a first VLAN. If the authentication server determines that the host needs to change from the first VLAN to a second VLAN the authentication server generates a COA message, associated with the host, wherein the COA message comprises a VLAN identifier related to the second VLAN. The authentication server transmits the COA message to the network device causing the network device to route traffic to and from the host using the second VLAN.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 17, 2021Publication date: August 18, 2022Inventors: Rahul Sharma, Rahul Kumar Singh, Rajshekhar Biradar
