  • Patent number: 8469127
Abstract: A drive system for an agricultural or industrial utility vehicle is provided. The drive system comprises a drive assembly that generates a mechanical torque, a first and a second electric machine, a first mechanical output interface used to drive at least one vehicle axle and a second mechanical output interface. A shaft driven by the drive assembly is rotationally connected to a shaft of the first electric machine. The second output interface is used to mechanically drive a tool which can be coupled to the utility vehicle. The shaft of the second electric machine can be reversibly connected to the first mechanical output interface. In order to allow for a connection modification of the second electric machine without producing interruptions or irregularities of torque, a third electric machine is provided the shaft of which can be reversibly connected to the first mechanical output interface.

  • Patent number: 8167104
Abstract: The invention relates to a gear shifting point (10) for producing a rotationally fixed connection between a toothed wheel (16, 18) and a shaft (12). Said gear shifting point (10) comprises a shaft (12), a sliding sleeve (24) and at least one toothed wheel (16, 18). The toothed wheel (16, 18) is mounted rotationally with respect to the shaft (12). The sliding sleeve (24) is mounted on the shaft (12) in such a way that it is not rotatable therewith. The toothed wheel (16, 18) and the sliding sleeve (24) are embodied in such a way that a rotationally fixed connection can be produced therebetween in the coupled state of the gear shifting point (10) and no connection can be produced between the toothed wheel (16, 18) and the sliding sleeve (24) in the neutral state of the gear shifting point (10).

  • Publication number: 20110042155
Abstract: The invention relates to a drive system (10) for an agricultural or industrial utility vehicle, preferably a tractor. Said drive system (10) comprises a drive assembly (12) that generates a mechanical torque, a first, second and third electric machine (20, 22, 24, 110), a first mechanical output interface (16) used to drive at least one vehicle rude and a second mechanical output interface (18). An electric machine (20, 22, 24, 110) comprises a rotor (32, 34, 36, 114) which is connected to a shaft (38, 40, 42, 116) in a rotationally fixed manner. A shaft (14) driven by the drive assembly (12) is rotationally connected to the shaft (38) of the first electric machine (20). The second output interface (18) is used to mechanically drive a tool which can be coupled to the utility vehicle. The shaft (40) of the second electric machine (22) and/or the shaft (42) of the third electric machine (24) can be reversibly connected to the first mechanical output interface (16).

  • Publication number: 20100170732
Abstract: The invention relates to a drive system (10) for an agricultural or industrial vehicle, preferably a tractor (12). Said drive system (19) comprises at least one electric generator (24, 26) as well as a first and a second electric machine (28, 30). The at least one electric generator (24, 26) can be driven using torque generated by a vehicle engine (22). At least one of the two electric machines (28, 30) can be driven using the electric power generated by the electric generator (24, 26). The mechanical torque generated by the first and/or the second electric machine (28, 30) can be transmitted to at least one driving axle (14, 16) of the vehicle in order to allow the vehicle to move. The invention further relates to an agricultural vehicle comprising such a drive system (10).

  • Publication number: 20100038189
Abstract: The present invention relates to an arresting brake (10) for arresting at least one rotatably mounted component (12, 14) with respect to a housing (32), and is suitable in particular for use in an agricultural or industrial utility vehicle. The arresting brake (10) comprises an electromagnet (26), two armature components (40, 42) and two rotatably mounted components (12, 14). The electromagnet (26) preferably has a core (26) and a coil (30; 50, 52). The armature components (40, 42) are arranged such that they can move in relation to the electromagnet (26) and are rotationally fixed with respect to the housing (32). The electromagnet (26) is arranged between the armature components (40, 42), in order to arrest the rotatably mounted components (12, 14) using the arresting brake (10), in each case an armature component (40, 42) can be engaged with, in each case, one rotatably mounted component (12, 14).

  • Publication number: 20070125608
Abstract: A parking brake actuator system is provided for an agricultural or industrial utility vehicle. The system includes an actuating member and an actuator. The actuating member can be forced into an engaged position by means of a preload. An actuator moves the actuating member against the preload force. The actuating member includes a parking brake arm which pivots about an axis and engages, when it is in an engaged position, a rotatable component. To permit actuation with relatively low force and to reduce the tolerances required, the actuating member includes a toggle device. The toggle device and the parking brake arm cooperate so that the parking brake arm and the toggle device move in response to actuation of the actuator.
