  • Patent number: 7072497
Abstract: In a method for operating an imaging medical examination apparatus and an apparatus operating according to the method, particularly a magnetic resonance apparatus, measured signals of an examination subject are sequentially registered and processed by an image computer into outputtable image data signals of an individual image or a series of images, and the image data of an individual image or a series of images are interpreted with reference to at least one diagnosis-specific parameter that represents a criterion for the image quality to be achieved and that is predetermined, for the individual image or image series. Dependent on the evaluation result, the measured signal acquisition is ended when the prescribed parameter is satisfied or is continued until a renewed interpretation shows that the prescribed parameter has been met.

  • Publication number: 20060079790
Abstract: In a method, sensor and system for producing time-limited images of a moving organ of a human or animal body, an imaging apparatus acquires image data and, using a sensor situated outside the body, a signal is registered that represents the movement of the organ that is to be imaged. • Publication number: 20060007246
Abstract: In a method for representation of medical image information on a display medium data sets from different medical examinations are supplied to various information channels of a 3D monitor. Various superimpositions of the data sets are displayed to an observer dependent on the viewing angle. • Publication number: 20050272994
Abstract: In a method for representation of medical image information on a display medium an image representation parameter is varied dependent on the position of the observer. Superimpositions of data sets from different medical examinations are thereby displayed. • Publication number: 20050273139
Abstract: Tissue can be clamped via an endorobot in a simple manner, and at the same time with a high degree of safety, by using a device which is received by the endorobot and which includes a clip, a drive unit and a control unit, as part of the endorobot for example. The clip is able to be advanced out of and retracted into a guide part of the endorobot independently by use of the drive unit, and of the control unit connected to the latter, without complicated mechanical connections to the outside.

  • Publication number: 20050251426
Abstract: An apparatus for making medical operating information accessible has a central server via which a consumer can search a databank with medical operating information in order to find medical operating information suitable for the consumer purposes. The consumers likewise can offer their own measurement parameters to other consumers for use. • Publication number: 20050209682
Abstract: A device is for repeated semi-invasive abrasion of lesions on the walls of hollow organs, in particular blood vessels or the gastrointestinal tract of a patient. The device includes an outer stent which, fixed in position at the site of the lesions, can be clamped against the wall of the hollow organ and has recesses through which the lesions can inwardly protrude. The device further includes a cutting body which is guided within the outer stent and only negligibly narrows the internal bore of the outer stent, which cutting body has cutting edges sliding on the inner side of the outer stent and is coupled magnetically to an external magnet system via which it can turn about the stent axis and/or can move longitudinally along the stent axis.

  • Publication number: 20050192660
Abstract: A device is for introducing a stent into a hollow organ, in particular into the gastrointestinal tract of the body of a patient. The device includes a magnet system which covers the area of treatment of the patient and generates a 3D gradient field for remote-controlled movement and orientation of an endorobot. The endorobot is provided with a linear magnet and is freely movable in the hollow organ. Further, the stent, which can be uncoupled from the outside, is secured to the endorobot in a folded-down state so that it can be brought to the site of use and can there be opened out so as to bear firmly on the wall of the hollow organ.

  • Publication number: 20050182663
Abstract: A method is proposed for examining a plurality of sites for a clinical trial. The method includes obtaining criteria for clinical trial and determining, using a computer device, how information regarding each of a plurality of clinical trial sites relates to the obtained criteria. Based upon the determinations, a plurality of the clinical trial sites are ranked. Thereafter, the ranked clinical trial sites may be reported to a sponsor of the clinical trial, and payment may be received.
