Publication number: 20250068463Abstract: Techniques are described for configuring a data platform to schedule workloads using backlog indicators. For instance, processing circuitry of a data platform may obtain a generic backlog indicator for workloads to execute via the data platform. Each of the workloads may specify one or more storage system maintenance operations. Processing circuitry may obtain a custom backlog indicator for at least a subset of the workloads. A priority manager may calculate a single weighted backlog indicator value for each of the workloads by applying configurable weights to the generic backlog indicators and the custom backlog indicators. The data platform may schedule the workloads for execution on the data platform based on the single weighted backlog indicator value calculated for each workload. In some examples, the data platform processes the workloads according to the scheduling.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 31, 2023Publication date: February 27, 2025Inventors: Rajat Sharma, Kshitiz Jain, Leo Prasath Arulraj

Patent number: 12142037Abstract: A device may receive building location information associated with a multi-unit building. The device may obtain an image that depicts the multi-unit building. The device may process, using a building analysis model, the image to identify exterior access features of the multi-unit building. The building analysis model may be trained based on a plurality of historical images of other exterior access features. The device may determine, using a scoring system and based on a configuration of exterior access features that are identified by the building analysis model, an exterior accessibility score of the unit. The device may perform, based on the exterior accessibility score, an action associated with qualifying the unit for installation of a service that involves access, from the unit, to an exterior of the multi-unit building.Type: GrantFiled: April 22, 2022Date of Patent: November 12, 2024Assignee: Verizon Patent and Licensing Inc.Inventors: Vipul Jha, Sheikbharith Liakathali, Rajat Sharma, Senthil Muthusamy

Publication number: 20240353729Abstract: The present disclosure describes photodetectors with multiple inputs and methods of operating photodetectors with multiple inputs. An apparatus includes a substrate, an optical absorber, an optical device, and a tuner. The optical absorber is positioned on the substrate. The optical device produces a first optical signal and a second optical signal from an optical signal received at a first port of the optical device and directs the first optical signal and the second optical signal to the optical absorber. The tuner adjusts a first phase of the first optical signal and a second phase of the second optical signal such that a reflection of the first optical signal from the optical absorber destructively interferes with a reflection of the second optical signal from the optical absorber at the first port.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 18, 2023Publication date: October 24, 2024Inventors: Rajat SHARMA, Donald J. ADAMS, Attila MEKIS, Gianlorenzo MASINI

Publication number: 20240004629Abstract: Client machines, whether consumer or Enterprise, are notified of software updates using a decentralized, peer-to-peer blockchain infrastructure. Any software update is written to a block of data and distributed to blockchain nodes associated with a blockchain network. A smart contract, executed by any of the blockchain nodes, causes the corresponding blockchain node to notify specific client machines of the block of data recording the software update. The client machines contact the blockchain node and request the software update written to the block of data. The blockchain node retrieves and sends the software update written to the block of data. When the client machines receive the software update, the client machines apply or install the software update to improve their computer functioning.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 30, 2022Publication date: January 4, 2024Inventors: Achint Singh, Prasanth K S R, Shubham Kumar, Manjunath Gr, Rajat Sharma, Tomson Mt, Sumanth Vidyadhara
