    Abstract: Techniques disclosed herein provide a method for efficiently propagating address resolution reply messages. A first router in a first network receives an address resolution request message from a second router in a second network. The first router generates an entry for the address resolution request message and stores the entry in a pending address resolution requests table. When the first router receives a route advertisement, it extracts a network layer address from the route advertisement and determines whether the pending address resolution requests table includes an entry for the network layer address. If so, the router extracts a link layer address from the route advertisement and generates an address resolution reply message comprising the network layer address and the link layer address. The router then transmits the address resolution reply message to the second router.

    Abstract: In response to receiving an ASR message, a VTEP generates a specially modified control plane message advertising the IP-to-MAC binding of the ASR message. The control plane message may be modified to indicate that it is not to be used for MAC learning. The control plane message is advertised over the network. When an intended recipient receives the message, it uses that message just for the IP-to-MAC binding. When an unintended recipient receives the message, it may drop it as invalid.

    Abstract: A method and a system for maximizing share-ride bookings in a geographical area in a ride-sharing system are provided. Historical share-ride demands for the geographical area are estimated. A time period is segmented into time intervals such that each time interval has an equal count of the estimated historical share-ride demands. A conversion rate and a gross merchandise value (GMV) per unit of distance are determined for a first time interval at a check point of a second time interval. Error signals are generated at the check point based on deviations in the conversion rate and the GMV per unit of distance with respect to a defined conversion rate and a defined GMV per unit of distance, respectively. A share-ride fare in the second time interval is controlled based on the error signals to maximize the share-ride bookings during the second time interval.

The self-organizing networks can include a computing cloud component coupled to the heterogeneous mesh network. In the methods and computer-readable mediums disclosed herein, a processor determines if a user equipment (UE) should hand over its service from a base station to a multi-radio access technology (RAT) node, based on heuristics including one or more of: a distance traveled over a time T1, an average speed over a time T2, a destination stored in internal memory within the UE, a speed limit measurement for a nearby road, a possible direction in which the UE could travel, a signal strength measurement for a servicing base station, and a signal strength measurement for the multi-RAT node. A position profile may be used to predict a future location of the UE.

Because the access transistor is a transistor with one front-side and one back-side S/D contacts, the bitline may be provided in a first layer, the channel material—in a second layer, and the plateline—in a third layer, where the second layer is between the first layer and the third layer, which may allow increasing the density of memory cells in a memory array, or, conversely, reducing the footprint area of a memory array with a given density of memory cells.
