    Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for improving the resiliency and performance for clustered memory. A computing device can mark a page of the memory as being reclaimed. The computing device can then set the page of the memory as read-only. Next, the computing device can submit a write request for the contents of the page to individual ones of a plurality of memory hosts. Subsequently, the computing device can receive individual confirmations of a successful write of the page from the individual ones of the plurality of memory hosts. Then, the computing device can mark the page as free in response to receipt of the individual confirmations of the successful write from the individual ones of the plurality of memory hosts.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for making use of non-persistent storage as the journaling storage media for a virtual storage system are provided. According to one embodiment, in order to meet the needs of Extreme Low Latency Workloads while also seeking to provide predictable performance and the lowest possible latency, ephemeral storage of the virtual storage system is used to preserve state information (e.g., in the form of boot arguments and an operation log journal) across a host failure recovery scenario in which the virtual storage system is expected to be redeployed within a compute instance brought up by a cloud environment of a hyperscaler on the same host, thereby providing improved data durability (fewer host failure scenarios that result in lost data) as compared to the use of ephemeral memory of the compute instance and lower write latency than the use of persistent storage provided by the cloud environment.

In accordance with an embodiment, the system supports a user interface with icons that describe original (e.g., out-of-the-box or factory) KPIs and user-modified KPIs. When a user modifies an original KPI object to create a customized KPI, its icon is changed to visibly indicate that the user has modified the KPI. The customized KPI can be used within KPI decks, cards, dashboards, or other types of visualizations; while retaining a lineage to the original KPI object.

The first computer system can then generate a signal for the second computer system subsequently to initiating or completing the save process, thereby allowing the second computer system to restore the saved data from the memory or storage device into its own persistent memory.

When an intended recipient receives the message, it uses that message just for the IP-to-MAC binding. When an unintended recipient receives the message, it may drop it as invalid.

    Abstract: A depth camera assembly (DCA) determines depth information. The DCA projects a dynamic structured light pattern into a local area and captures images including a portion of the dynamic structured light pattern. The DCA determines regions of interest in which it may be beneficial to increase or decrease an amount of texture added to the region of interest using the dynamic structured light pattern. For example, the DCA may identify the regions of interest based on contrast values calculated using a contrast algorithm, or based on the parameters received from a mapping server including a virtual model of the local area. The DCA may selectively increase or decrease an amount of texture added by the dynamic structured light pattern in portions of the local area. By selectively controlling portions of the dynamic structured light pattern, the DCA may decrease power consumption and/or increase the accuracy of depth sensing measurements.

The method includes assigning a random label to each of the quantum signal block based on the determined quantum key distribution configuration. Also, the method includes performing hybrid phase modulation to each of the pulses individually and to each of the quantum signal blocks with a defined phase difference between the each of the pulses individually and each of the quantum signal blocks. The hybrid phase modulation is performed based on the assigned random label. Further, the method includes transmitting the hybrid phase modulated quantum signal blocks to receiving units.
