  • Patent number: 11710064
Abstract: Techniques and solutions are described for improving user interfaces, such as by analyzing user interactions with a user interface with a machine learning component. The machine learning component can be trained with user interaction data that includes an interaction identifier and a timestamp. The identifiers and timestamps can be used to determine the duration of an interaction with a user interface element, as well as patterns of interactions. Training data can be used to establish baseline or threshold values or ranges for particular user interface elements or types of user interface elements. Test data can be obtained that includes identifiers and timestamps. The time taken to complete an interaction with a user interface element, and optionally an interaction pattern, can be analyzed. If the machine learning component determines that an interaction time or pattern is abnormal, various actions can be taken, such as providing a report or user interface guidance.

  • Patent number: 11707786
Abstract: A method and apparatus for surface densification of powder metal annular preforms is described. A forming tool has external helical teeth corresponding to internal helical teeth of the preform. A die correspondingly configured to the external splines of the preform circumferentially surrounds the forming tool. The forming tool, die and lower punch(es) collectively define an aperture dimensioned to receive the preform. Upper punch(es) encase the preform in the aperture. Surface densification of the internal surface of the preform is achieved by movement of the preform axially over the forming tool. External splines of the preform and corresponding die splines direct the preform axially while internal helical teeth and corresponding forming teeth direct the forming tool to rotate as the preform moves. The forming teeth have varying dimensions in the circumferential and radial directions to apply compression and relaxation to densify the surface of the preform helical teeth.

  • Patent number: 11709661
Abstract: An instrumentation analysis system processes data streams by executing instructions specified using a data stream language program. The data stream language allows users to specify a search condition using a find block for identifying the set of data streams processed by the data stream language program. The set of identified data streams may change dynamically. The data stream language allows users to group data streams into sets of data streams based on distinct values of one or more metadata attributes associated with the input data streams. The data stream language allows users to specify a threshold block for determining whether data values of input data streams are outside boundaries specified using low/high thresholds. The elements of the set of data streams input to the threshold block can dynamically change. The low/high threshold values can be specified as data streams and can dynamically change.

  • Publication number: 20230229625
Abstract: A cloud migration framework may include an enterprise application data store that contains electronic records associated with enterprise applications. Each record may include, for example, an electronic record identifier and enterprise application parameters. A data repository stores a catalogue of cloud computing patterns. A back-end application computer server retrieves information from the enterprise application data store and, based on enterprise application parameters, creates a move group representing a subset of the enterprise applications. For each application in the move group, the computer server identifies whether an appropriate cloud computing pattern exists in the catalogue. If an appropriate cloud computing pattern is identified, it is used to automatically create a reference implementation of the enterprise application in a cloud computing environment.

  • Publication number: 20230231349
Abstract: A slidable current collector has an array of terminals with carbon brushes for contacting conductor rails to deliver electrical power to a moving work machine. The terminals have upper sections with a conductive post, lower sections that include a reservoir of liquid metal, and bladders that connect the upper sections with the lower sections. Magnets surround outer shells of the terminals. Fluid above a threshold pressure fed into the bladders holds the upper sections apart from the lower sections and forces the magnets away from the conductor rails. Fluid below the threshold pressure allows the magnets to clamp the terminals to the conductor, lowers the conductive post into the liquid metal, and urges the carbon brushes against the conductor rails. The bladders provide a fluid suspension distributed across the array of terminals, enabling consistent electrical contact and wear for the carbon brushes.
