  • Publication number: 20240415802
Abstract: A novel method of treating diseases characterized by high PAI-1 is presented. Administering a composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of genistein was found to inhibit PAI-1 promotor activity and decrease PAI-1 levels to treat diseases such as asthma, which exhibit increased PAI-1 levels. Genotyping the patient can be performed prior to administration to detect a 4G/5G polymorphism as patients having a 4G genotype have better response to the genistein treatment. The composition may be comprised of a therapeutically effective amount of genistein derived naturally from soybeans or synthetically produced and optionally present in nanoparticle form.

  • Publication number: 20240419678
Abstract: A data processing and analysis system that optimizes the resources to be used for data storage and refresh events. A partitioner module for a data analysis system can receive a first client criteria and a first client dataset that includes tabular data and calculate scores that are used to generate partitioning strategies. The selected partitioning strategy can be implemented to produce aggregated data that can be stored in an intelligent data mart. The partitions can then be accessed by a data visualization platform for intelligent, dynamic responses to user requests for data analyses and generation of visualizations. By providing synchronous partitioning of data (especially big data) and intelligent refresh, the data can move from the back-end to the front-end with minimal user clicks and minimal latency in performance.

  • Publication number: 20240420296
Abstract: Mechanisms are provided for automated document image annotation and data extraction. A received document image is processed to identify a document type of the received document image, and retrieve a corresponding document template having key point location data and annotation location data for documents of the document type. First key points of the received document image are matched with second key points of the corresponding document template and a mapping is generated to map locations of the document template to locations of the received document image. A perspective transformation is applied, based on the mapping, to first annotation locations specified in the document template data structure to generate second annotation locations corresponding to locations in the received document image. Data extraction is performed on data associated with the second annotation locations based on the annotations corresponding to the second annotation locations.

  • Patent number: 12169637
Abstract: Techniques are provided for processing read operations while splitting a clone volume from a parent volume whose data is stored within objects of an object store. A transfer map is created to track mappings of child object identifiers to parent object identifiers of the parent objects to copy as child objects having the child object identifiers. The transfer map for the object store is traversed to copy the parent objects as the child objects for the split clone operation. The child objects are verified as being successfully created with valid data. In response to determining that the parent object has been copied as the child object, a context check is performed using the reverse map to verify a block within the child object. In response a successful context check, the read operation is processed using the block of the child object.
